thursday post

good evening!
well, em didn't pop online till 9:10pm. PIG mum has said she's forcing me to bed at 10:10pm, so i'll be sure to note the time i get booted off, then on sunday, will get back EVERY SINGLE MINUTE I'M OWED, I PROMISE! i've already got 15mins owing from a previous day, so yeah.
-eep, only ten minutes to post about today!
-TWFT topic was 'staying power'
-thanks to dearest dad for yummy ham and egg on toast as breakfast this morning, and a mug of warm milo.
-PIG mum tootled us off to PA. usual crummy peak-hour traffic.
-i was extremely relieved/grateful when she popped the boot for sparkless. we wheeled me in.
-PIG mum took me once to the loo, then i filled out a form about myself, no metal in my body, etc.
-MRI. i remembered to just sing in my head and not out aloud this time.
-i used a pan a few times today.
-down in the transit lounge, PIG mum and i had half an egg sandwhich each, and a lil container of orange juice. i think 110mL?
-went up to 2C! can't remember for what, though ... i fell asleep. joseph came to visit! sorry, his real name's colin, but i keep calling him joseph, for some odd reason. :p his poor ... mum, was it? female relative, anyhow, had a stroke. hope she'll be okay.
-back down to transit lounge. scored a cup of tea and a pack of bikkies, as did PIG mum. fell asleep again, waiting for the neurosurgeon to come reset my shunt so i could finally get up.
-was finally released after 5pm. PIG mum rang karen to come then tootled us home.
-a nice hot shower - hairwash today.
-karen Forced me to walk out to her car, and tootled us off to garbo.
-we went to the library first, to return my -almost! - overdue book. then we wheeled ourselves round kmart to pick up a neat father's day card and pressie for dearest dad.
-dinnertime! i finally enjoyed my first two piece feed in two whole months!!!!!! karen had some kinda chicken salad thing , pinched two of my chippies :P and drank my pepsi. i had a yummy low-fat shake.
-we went to stacks to find a good gift bag to put in dad's gift for him. i also wrote out his father's day card.
-karen went to buy herself some grapefruit for breakfast toms. when i was in borders browsing servant of the empire and another feist novel, she went upstairs to buy jamie some mongolian beef in thick yellow noodles for dinner tonight.
-she took me once more to the loo before she tootled us home. sheesh, but it does PISS me off sth big when ppl who have absolutely no problems at all make use of the disabled toilets!
-she drove us home. karen listens to 97.3FM, BTW.
-sweet, i finished! well, just haveta type out that i was hard at work plodding 327 steps today. not a lot, i know, but i've spent most of today flat on my back! :P i promise there'll be more toms, okies?
