tuesday post

good evening! TWFT topic was 'when you feel anxious (2)' and em was hard at work plodding 5202 steps today. now, em didn't plop online till 9:20pm, but since she also realises that the sky will fall in :P before PIG mum will allow her to stay online till 11:20pm, i just promise to note down the time i get booted off, and i SWEAR, i'll get back EVERY SINGLE MINUTE THAT I'M OWED!!!! so, quickly, about today:
- i took two sips from the required glass of water. breakfast was a crunchy milk choc chip museli bar. as with all the other days, PIG mum forced poor ela to hang onto the bar, then ordered era to unwrap it.
-physio at the PA. linelle had me doing some bed work.
-helen came with morning tea! and she still remembers my name! :) so, white and two for me, plus a packet of bikkies, a milk arrowroot and a nice bikkie. linelle made herself a coffee and grabbed a pack for herself also.
-linelle and troy did the box thing, and Forced me to walk all the way to BIRU. orli was there!
-so i sat down and thunked out all the christmas carols i could think of. linelle wandered over and requested greensleeves (sp?) so i thunked that out for her too.
-boss wandered over to say hi! joyce was here for a chat, too. and ruby! wow, i think she said she's got sth like EIGHTEEN grandchildren! lol, PIG mum should've given birth to ruby, not me. :P
-PIG mum took me to the loo once before she tootled us off to centacare.
-kate saw us. i didn't have to fill in anything this time; actually, she gave PIG mum a form for my physios to fill out saying how much help i needed with doing certain activities.
-back home for lunch (PIG mum really likes waiting till friday to take me out to lunch. dunno why. :P). i rang dearest dad, then had lunch: a yummy toasted tuna in tomato and onion sandwhich. it was some new brand ... not john west or greenseas. safcol? lunch was washed down with a plain glass of milk.
-lisa came at 2pm, Forced me to walk to the bathroom. a nice hot shower - i washed my hair today. i also remembered why i don't like lisa - apart from PIG mum, she's the only person that likes to force poor ela to scrub various parts of me. even worse, she forced poor ela to hang onto my sock as i was struggling to put it on.
-arvo tea: a cup of milo, sweetened with one teaspoon of sugar (i've said before, i take my tea with two teaspoonfuls of sugar; my milo, it doesn't need sugar, but hey, if that's what you offer, i'll take it. i enjoyed this cup as my one cup a day to hold 'incorrectly'.) also a bowl of rice with some onion and egg. yummy. luckily, PIG mum was upstairs and lisa was outside hanging up the washing, so there was no-one here to force poor ela to hang onto the bowl. i put it up onto the tabletop, anyways.
-lisa took me to the loo once before mariana arrived and tootled us off to QUT, gardens point campus, for toastmasters! first, though, she tootled us to her office coz she'd misplaced her mobile! luckily, a colleague had picked it up.
-oh dear. mariana was all for forcing poor em to walk into toastmasters. >< i was saved when the heavens opened and rain bucketed down. meaning i'll be praying ever-so-fervently that it will once again rain again a fortnight from now. :P
-mariana and i went and bought a hot drink each. she had a mocha with two equals, i enjoyed a hot chocolate with one sugar and one equal.
-will came, and we went to order our dinner. will bought some chocolate brownie that he couldn't end up finishing; mariana got some healthy sandwhich, and i enjoyed a yummy chicken and some kinda cheese filo. yummy!
-toastmasters! i took notes:
*will has cerebal (sp?) palsy and sees uncle wilbur every six months
*i met a man called scott, who had a sausage roll with tomato sauce and has 2 kids, a six month old baby boy, and a daughter from a previous marriage, 7?
*mariana swam a marathon!
*sam got an assignment in on time! :P

*sam's our language evaluator for today. and our word for today is 'assiduous'.
*warm-up speaker: we're going around giving our definition of 'prosperity'. mine is 'being well off'.

-anyways, after toastmasters, i wheeled myself back out to the carpark. will called a maxitaxi to take him home - it came really fast! then lisa picked me up. i buckled my own seatbelt with the help of mariana, then lisa drove mariana back to where her car was. mariana also returned our parking sticker, then lisa tootled us back home, listening to some audio book! it was made into some movie starring leonaedo di caprio, about him impersonating different ppl. she offered to put it onto a CD for me.
-home, i said my byes and thanks to lisa, then tootled online.
-first, i rang grandma - today is uncle fung's bday! i wanted to sing him the happy bday song, but grandma said he and aunty nga were out celebrating. that cruise thing that aunty nga had told me about? so i'll try ring him again on sunday.
-toms: aunty wendy's coming at 10am. PIG mum's booked me in for a torture session with vincent the physio at 1:30pm. >< she says we can go for sushi afterwards, yay! i'm not looking forward to the walk, but that's okay. somehow, i always survive. and we're going out for dinner with leanne's family at night, some korean BBQ place near pinelands plaza! hope it'll be great~~
-anyways, better check, then let PIG mum force me to bed. oh well.
