wednesday post9

good afternoon! righteo, i came online @ 3:01pm, meaning that after chrissy/whoever comes along to look after me, i've still got ONE HOUR and ONE MINUTE left online. add that to how much i'm already owed, i'm actually owed SIX HOURS and FORTY-ONE MINUTES online!! and i PROMISE i'll try my absolute HARDEST to get back EVERY SINGLE MINUTE THAT I'M OWED!! anyways, let's start off with last night's events first!
-karen gave me a nice hot shower - hairwash today. i had a tinkle before she flipped the hot water off, dried and creamed myself, had another tinkle. karen got me rekitted, and i had one last tinkle before she Forced me to walk out to the gobbling :P table.
-i made myself a cuppa, white and two, and thanks to karen who made me the perfect toastie - two slices of cheese, ham and mayo cut into three triangles.
-she gave ela a quick massage as i wolfed down my arvo tea. then, time to go, dad made me walk out to the car.
much thanks to karen who helped me buckle my seatbelt all night, and she tootled us off to QUT for toastmasters, listening to 97.3FM.
-i was incredibly surprised and grateful when karen popped the boot to get sparkless out for me on arrival, but thought the better of it to ask why. so karen and i wheeled me over to Q block. yes, we did haveta ask like, three security guards for directions along the way. :P
-hey, i almost forgot - so far today, i've been hard @ work plodding 1249 steps
-while we waited for some security guy to unlock the door for us, i had a chat to leonard and michael, told them i was a nervous wreck. :P
-when toastmasters started, warmup was about
-mariana wheeled me out to deliver my speech. firstly, i apologised if i'd speak too fast coz of nerves, then got into it!
-when the red light came on, i said, to everyone's amusement, "yay, the red light is on, i can finally stop." i'd reached me punching that boy bully who'd harrassed me during year one.
-i received a standing ovation, coz 'twas my icebreaker. i also taled a lil overtime, sth like 6:20, but the timekeeper said, "but we'll forgive you coz you gave us quite some laughs." :P
-during the interval, i asked karen if she could find me a vending machine anywhere, coz the speech had parched my throat. we tried basically every floor on the elevator but couldn't find a vending machine anywhere, so in the end karen braced sparkless and i stood up to take thirsty gulps from the water fountain.
-back inside, mariana and david said they were leaving. i gave them both hugs, thanked them heaps for coming to support me.
-evaluations started! i was evaluated by leonard; i'llput up what he said tonight if i can get dad to please pass me my page i took notes from. i keep forgetting; i haveta ask dad to please get me a new notebook coz i've filled outthe one i've been using.
-karewn took me once to the bathroom before we wheeled me back down to her car.
-we went to the red roosters in springwood for dinner. i got a tropoicana pack, and drank the 500 mL chocolate breaka i'd picked up from a vending machine we'd past as we were leaving; karen ate a fish and chips and was slightly disappointed that red roosters (she keeps calling them 'big roosters', lol :P) doesn't sell iced coffee.
-karen tootled me home, she'll be back to take me out to ikea come thursday afternoon! wonder what dad wants us to buy from there ...?
-repeat the usual nightly routine, i had a brief chat to PIG mum on the phone then dad kicked me to bed. zzz.
-but uh oh for last night. i'd swung myself over to use the pot :P then whimpered to bear bear, "my head hurts ... " :( he immediately scampered o the edge of my bed, and ordered, "call dad." dad came downstairs, fed me two panadol and three glasses of water - i was extremely careful to hold each one 'correctly', of course. then he prayed with me and i taught him how bear bear says giving a tummy rub is the best way for a headache cure.
-huh? oh, it's not chrissy, she's never early! it's lyn lynette. righteo, will try to bbl later tonight with the rest of today's events!
