Saturday Post 354

 Good afternoon! Firstly, Em's final, final plodding total for Friday's actually 6205 (but I'm hardly gonna post about last night since the p[oor Broncos got TROUNCED by like FORTY points! ><); secondly, John Piper's devotional from last night's "Seek Your City's Good"; thirdly, today I've only been hard @ work plodding 587 steps (and most probably not leaving the house today, so don't expect much more) and thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Live For Something Greater Than Yourself'. Anyways, events for today?

• Whoops I've just spent too much time Facebooking; only fifty minutes left! XD Just briefly, then, events for today?
• Yay, 9th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:20am when - you guessed it - PIG mum began her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs.
• Kim minded me from 10am till 2pm.
• After doing a stinky unspeakable and eating breakfast, I happily read for seventy-five minutes first up, reaching page fifty @ 10:52am and finishing page seventy-five @ 11:34am
• At midday I used the loo for one tinkle, munched one digestive bikkie, tried without success to ring Aunty Lai (the first time I must've dialled the wrong number; some woman answered and when I said "Lai yee?" asked, "Who is this?" I replied "Sorry, wrong number; bye!" The second time I tried ringing, the phone call cut off after fifty-eight seconds; presumably she was out.
• Instead, I read till 12:30pm and then went to take a nice hot shower - I washed and rinsed my own hair today. I also sang 20% of my shorter second-favourite song softly, slowly but most hatefully out aloud, opening both eyes for all the important numbers. Actually, I was done only after 12%, but happily leaned fully against the side rail and watered myself for another tinkle before flipping the nice hot water off and calling for Kim.
• Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was one full bowl of the yummy rice Kim had cooked while I'd showered plus my third and final mug of white tea with two sugars. I read for another forty minutes, reaching pg. 100 @ 1:13pm and finishing pg. 111 @ 1:32pm.
• Used the loo for two more tinkles @ 1:55pm and then signed Kim off with my thanks and byes @ 2pm. She's back Tuesday and taking me to Toastmasters~
• Once I've finished my most important two hours online I'll use the loo once and then read for another forty minutes; it's only Saturdays when I get to spend a blessed three hours reading~
• Toms: just church, nothing special. Oh, the special thing can be that not only is tomorrow ANZAC Day, but Bible study resumes for Term Two toms!
• Since it's ANZAC Day tomorrow, will anyplace be open for lunch/dinner without the public holiday surcharge?
• Anyways, hopefully bbl else looking forward to seeing everyone @ church toms!
