Heylo again, good afternoon and please excuse the first post; you know I still get too excited whenever I get to post online before midday. Firstly, today I've only been hard @ work plodding 2768 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Smallest Faith'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Quiet Faithfulness In Christ' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Quiet Faithfulness In Christ' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTEEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 4th time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 5:50am (my favourite thing about Summer's prolly how early the Sun rises) and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Around 9am I wake again for the pot, shortly before PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with absolutely nothing but the bra strap (since dearest dad had left for Uncle Colbert's place earlier else she should've helped me with the tee also) before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum comes back to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both shoelaces before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is two dry (no honey) Weet-Bix with a very light scattering of Minus :P over the top, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*Since PIG mum had charged my mobile for me last night and the HP version of Bejeweled had suddenly given me forty minutes of free lives, I happily played all forty, even though I've only managed to pass two levels today. XD It's heaps harder than my original Jewel Quest game!
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the loo, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After using the loo for one more tinkle, I climb into the backseat of PIG mum's car and buckle my seatbelt. She gets in too and tootles us off to Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown, parking on level two.
- First, we catch the elevator up to level four and stand in queue @ The Post Office. It's a hot day today I'm thankful for the aircon! And can you believe it: sending a letter now costs $1.20; I swear 'twas only forty cents when I was back in primary school!
- Afterwards, we head back downstairs and buy groceries from Woolies. Dad meets us as we're using the self-serve checkouts!
- Then we head up to Coles and buy more groceries before we have lunch @ The Coffee Club! Originally, dad was just like let's get some sushi and a kebab from food court but I'm like hello it's my final day of holiday and I want it to be memorable; since you already won't take me somewhere for a HK-style milk tea (the SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK I've gone without ><) could we please eat lunch @ The Coffee Club?? Sure, two meals between three people and only water to drink means I didn't get much to eat @ all, but hey.
- Back home, I use the loo for one more tinkle and then walk myself slowly and safely back online, always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Catherine's minding me from 4-6pm today. Fingers crossed I can read Orson Scott Card's novel for one hour while she's here; also fingers crossed that I can watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 4th time!
- Best of all, it's ice cream night tonight; like I always say, a very little's better than none @ all!
- Toms: Peggy's minding me 9-2. Stress abounds: physio resumes. >< But I think I'll get to play mute again! XD
- OT's aren't coming back yet so after my most important two hours of the day online I'm looking forward to reading that Orson Scott Card novel for another hour and then watching the 6pm news for the 5th time!
- Righteo, hopefully bbl tonight else wishing everyone a lovely end to their week toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
