Thursday Post 290b

Heylo again, good afternoon and please excuse the first post; you know I still get too excited whenever I get to post online before midday. Firstly, today I've only been hard @ work plodding 2768 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Smallest Faith'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Quiet Faithfulness In Christ' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Quiet Faithfulness In Christ' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTEEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 4th time!! Anyways, events for today?

  • After using the loo for one more tinkle, I climb into the backseat of PIG mum's car and buckle my seatbelt. She gets in too and tootles us off to Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown, parking on level two.
  • First, we catch the elevator up to level four and stand in queue @ The Post Office. It's a hot day today I'm thankful for the aircon! And can you believe it: sending a letter now costs $1.20; I swear 'twas only forty cents when I was back in primary school!
  • Afterwards, we head back downstairs and buy groceries from Woolies. Dad meets us as we're using the self-serve checkouts!
  • Then we head up to Coles and buy more groceries before we have lunch @ The Coffee Club! Originally, dad was just like let's get some sushi and a kebab from food court but I'm like hello it's my final day of holiday and I want it to be memorable; since you already won't take me somewhere for a HK-style milk tea (the SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK I've gone without ><) could we please eat lunch @ The Coffee Club?? Sure, two meals between three people and only water to drink means I didn't get much to eat @ all, but hey.
  • Back home, I use the loo for one more tinkle and then walk myself slowly and safely back online, always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.

  • Catherine's minding me from 4-6pm today. Fingers crossed I can read Orson Scott Card's novel for one hour while she's here; also fingers crossed that I can watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 4th time!
  • Best of all, it's ice cream night tonight; like I always say, a very little's better than none @ all!
  • Toms: Peggy's minding me 9-2. Stress abounds: physio resumes. >< But I think I'll get to play mute again! XD
  • OT's aren't coming back yet so after my most important two hours of the day online I'm looking forward to reading that Orson Scott Card novel for another hour and then watching the 6pm news for the 5th time!
  • Righteo, hopefully bbl tonight else wishing everyone a lovely end to their week toms!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
