Good afternoon and potentially one final greeting for today! What I love about Summer: longer days mean that the Sun hasn't set yet, during Winter come 5pm it's already pitch black! Firstly, Em's potential final, final plodding total for Friday now stands @ 2338 (so hopefully I'll have cracked 2.5 grand before the night's out) and secondly, the potential spam count for the week's only eight but thirdly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FORTY-FIVE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news (Seven's) for the 5th time!! Anyways, potential final, final events for today?
- Around 9:30am, PIG mum's daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs wakes me for another pot :P trip and soon, she's let herself into my room to help me with absolutely nothing but the bra strap before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum comes back to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces before I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is two dry (no honey) Weet-Bix with a very light scattering of Minus :P over the top, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the loo, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- Dad sends PIG mum out swimming and says he'll take me shopping @ Warrigal Square instead! He goes back inside to fetch the parking permit but then parks @ the VERY FIRST park along the side of Warrigal Square and has me walk ALL THE WAY to Woolies. *sigh* Thankfully he let Ela practise swinging by my side and phew, he didn't make me walk along EVERY SINGLE AISLE. *phew*
- Back home, I use the loo for one tinkle and then sit @ the gobbling :P table. Dad makes me one tuna toastie with one slice of cheese for lunch but doesn't cut it; I quite like holding the whole sandwich and munching! That's washed down with one big mug of Chinese/green/peppermint tea. Over lunch I mute my mobile and happily play the HP version of Bejeweled since dad's eating lunch on the sofa facing the television.
- At 1:55pm I sit over the loo for two tinkles and when Peggy comes and takes me to the NAB for my first physio session for 2024 greet her by saying Happy New Year in German! Yeah, you can thank Google Translate for that. XD
- Peggy tootles me off to the NAB. On arrival, I sit over the loo for one tinkle and then start heading into the NAB. Ruth meets me partway down the hallway and asks after me; I mutter quietly I'm good thanks but didn't you say that I could play mute? She laughs and says once you get inside.
- Today I'm sent to the corner behind the vestib room and I have good fun miming! Physio today: Two TUG tests, one 10m walk test, seated movements for Ela and standing reaching for Ela. Elaine allows me to reveal that I'm verbal @ the end; one student told me that he knew I could talk (had seen videos of me walking, etc.) but during the session I play-acted so well he clean forgot that I was verbal! XD
- After sitting over the loo for two tinkles, Peggy tootles me home and I take a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helps me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted I get one little juicy pear for arvo tea plus one huge mug of green/peppermint tea. Oh, and half a tasty rice cracker.
- At 4:10pm I sit over the loo once more for two tinkles while PIG mum shooes Peggy away. She's back next Friday 9:30pm till 2pm
