good afternoon! i popped online @ 3:30, meaning i've still got ONE HOUR left online when lyn leaves and when i get back from uni fellowship. add to that the time i'm already owed, and that's EIGHT HOURS and FORTY-SEVEN MINUTES i'm still owed! and i can only keep promising i'll try my HARDEST to get back EVERY SINGLE MINUTE THAT I'M OWED!!
-anyways, today em was hard @ work plodding 2428 steps.
-turns out i didn't have physio @ your :P turn this morning - coz i had a follow-up @ the hospital!with aunty melody coming to accompany us this morning, dad still made me walk out to the gobbling :p table for breakfast. i had three weetbix with almost (but not quite) 2/3 a spoonful of honey.
-dad gleefully forced poor em to buckle her own seatbelt all day, he also gave me permission to listen to my car CD all day, and happy erf also got to sit sideways all day.
-dad tootled us off to the princess alexandra. he and aunty melody made me walk all the way into the day hospital, where i greeted janelle with a hug.
-janelle said my follow-up would actually be conducted back @ BIRU, so that's where dad and aunty melody made me walk.
-wow, micky remembers me!
-the person doing my review was actually a lady called kathy; i'd met the boss cathy (and saluted her :P) when dad and aunty melody were forcing me to walk to BIRU.
-so she Forced me to walk over to a plinth, where she tested out my sitting balance, etc.
-@ the end, she lent me a stick and i did that ten meter timed walk, with improvements on last time. :)
-then i sat out @ the dining table, and called out to various nurses, like, kylie, ruby and shauna. i actually met this new male nurse, from nepal! he's an enrolled nurse, BTW he taught me how to say 'thank-you' in nepalese, but i've already forgotten how, sorry. ><
-dad and aunty melody made me walk back out to the car, and dad decided that we'd go to vietnam corner (dong gei) for lunch.
-he dropped off aunty melody and i first so she could Force me to walk inside, while he went to repark the 4WD.
-dad decided we'd share two plates between three people. i chose 'four coloured rice', aunty melody chose sth with beef. when my yummy dish came, dad and aunty melody immediately helped themselves to huge bowls, leaving me with less than 1/3. but when aunty melody's dish came, all she shared with me was two tiny slices of beef! and it only would've been one had i not questioned the fairness of her getting one huge bowl of my meal yet only giving me one tinsy strip of beef! and sadly, that's not all - dad demanded some of my egg, so i obiedently poked the egg open and spooned him some egg yolk. nope, aunty melody thought that wasn't enough, and immediately carved out one more chunk for dad. argh, whatever. i was satiated.
-dad went to get the car, and aunty melody Forced me to walk outside and sit down to wait for him.
-dad drove us back to the hospital. he and aunty melody made me walk into the building again. i used the loo once, then sat down in the day hospital, first reading some pamphlet about support for carers, then asked dad to please pass me one magazine. he picked up a national geographic, and i amended, "GOSSIP mag, please, dad." so then i browsed a famous mag until uncle wilbur came to see me!
-he wrote down a list of my hobbies, asked me my goals, etc. dad and even aunty melody butted in frequently to diss me. ><
-then he had a feel of ela and erf. ela was awesome; i asked her to "please relax" while uncle wilbur was examining her. the clonus hasn't come back in erf yet, BTW.
-we ended with a walk back out to the day hospital reception. uncle wilbur told me to talk to ela more and that he'd write one letter to somebody, recommending more botox for me.
-we said our thanks and byes. aunty melody and dad made me walk all the way back to BIRU - and orli was there! i gave him a hug. :) he told me that trinity maree's 2.5 years old now, and that his second grandchild's due july!
-dad asked him to please return the stick i'd borrowed back to the physio and then made me walk all the way back out to the car.
-he tootled us home. i went to the toilet once. aunty melody was having a turn on our treadmill. she can have the thing, for all i care. :p
-dunno what got into dad, coz instead of letting me plop online, he gleefully forced me to plod lap after lap after bloody lap with him! ><
-uni fellowship finale tonight! i'm going dressed as joey, and bringing bear bear along! dad'll prolly force me to bed when i get home, but hey.
-toms; tessa's coming @ 10am. i wonder if she'll bring me a treat? :) it's too bad PIG mum said she wasn't allowed to anymore. party pooper! >< i can only continue to pray that vincent the physio won't come over and torture me toms, but i've given up believing that god even bothers to listen to my prayers. anyways, one last thing: the spam count for this week's ninety-seven. hope everyone has a smashing wekend!
