Friday Post 326

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2602 steps (ha, I'm over 2.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Worship In A Lightning Storm'; thirdly,   TWFT topic's 'The Blessing Of Obedience' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "Seeking God's Kingdom". Anyways, events for today?

  • Woo hoo, 8th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until the noisy garbage truck THUNDERED down our road to  start    tipping bins @ 6:40am this morning and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh* Back in bed I realised that my monthlies had arrived and reminded myself to let PIG mum know immediately when she entered my room around 7:45am.
  • Sure enough, I'm wakened for the pot :P again one hour later when PIG  mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Once she lets herself into my room (the parents never knock), I immediately tell her that my monthlies have arrived, hence why she helps me stick a pad into my knickers before hitting me with the eye goo.
  • Once PIG mum opens the door for Jane @ 8am, she knocks, opens the door and says  "Good morning Em; fifteen more minutes." Daddy Bear gives one paw flop in acknowledgement of her statement and just like that she's gone, denying him the  chance to imperiously flick his paw 'shoo!' @ her. XD
  • When Jane returns and taps me up, I use the pot :P once for three more tinkles,  we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth before sitting over the loo for one more tinkle. After washing and drying Era, I walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
  • Breakfast's one bowl of Weet-Bix porridge with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very lightly spread with avocado and hopefully very lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one tall cup of water. Amazingly, PIG mum tturned Sunrise on for my viewing pleasure (since Jane was here) and over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After breakfast I  asked Jane to please gimme (my  face, neck, throat and both  hands) some sunscreen then she walked behind me back to the bathroom before returning to the kitchen and washing the breakfast dishes up. Over the loo, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era I climb into  the passenger seat oof Sally and Jane tootles me  off to  the NAB for two hours of physio with Chan. Thanks to her who kindly helped me buckle my  seatbelt both ways.
  • Physio today: Explore gym: five minutes recumbent exercise bike, six minutes treadmill, single cable rows for Era, leg press 6kg,, body blade and step overs for Elf Recumbent exercise bikes have backrests! I sincerely thanked the Scottish lady for giving me Tuesday off and she said don't worry; Billy's having Friday off too! XD
  • After I sat over the loo for two more tinkles Jane tootled me home and I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Jane who helped me rinse out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and rekittted, lunch was almost (but not quite) one bowl of the delicious tuna and pasta bake I'd cooked with Ari yesterday plus my first ever cup of Ceylon tea; I'm a fan!
  • At 1:55pm I sat once more over the loo for two tinkles while PIG mum signed Jane off and immediately shooed her away. She's back next Wednesday for table tennis.
  • Did my daily Bible readings and plopped online.
  • Toms: Jacinta's minding me from 9:30am till 1pm; presuming we're getting my once-weekly honey chicken sushi roll from TThe Sushi Creators plus any groceries PIG mum may want from Woolies.
  • Looking forward to my three big mugs of white tea with sweetener and I'm planning to read the new book club novel for three hours!
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead! Cheers, Em. ^^
