Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding exactly 2222 steps (cool number, eh? Actually, 'twas 2219 but that number pissed me off enough to stand up, take three small steps forward and sit back down again XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Only True Freedom'; thirdly, TWFT topic's "Don't Speak With A 'Forked Tongue'" and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "God's Rescue Plan". Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 9th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 8am, and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking for another pot :P trip when noisy PIG mum wakes me with her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before returning outside and awaiting Jacinta's arrival @ 9:45am and retuning to tell me fifteen more minutes when Jacinta doesn't arrive promptly. I immediately reply, reminding her to please ring CODA On-call @ 9:40am should Jacinta not have arrived but should she come soon, tell her to please help me up since she's prolly stuck in traffic. Sure enough, that's exactly what happens!
- After I've counted down from 900, I swing myself over to the pot and announce "Jacinta, I'm hungry." She comes immediately, we get me kittled and then I head over to the bathroom before drinking one full mug of water before sitting over the loo proper. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Jacinta. Breakfast is my once-weekly fried egg on one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very lightly spread with some avocado. I also drain another tall cup of water, pop all my usual drugs :P and enjoy my first big mug of white tea sweetened with one spoonful of honey. The only pity was that horrid PIG mum wouldn't lemme get a slice of cheese with my egg on toast! Like, she's always going on that you've gotta do things for yourself and not ask people to do them for you; I've said I'll get the cheese myself butt she STILL refused! >< *sigh* But over and after breakfast I happily read for thirty minutes, reaching pg. 175 @ 10:16am.
- Reading for thirty minutes done, Jacinta slathered me with sunscreen then walked behind me back to the bathroom before returning to the kitchen and washing the breakfast dishes up. After I sit for one tinkle over the loo I wash and dry Era then climb into the backseat of Jacinta's car. She helps me with my seatbelt (as she kindly does both ways) then tootles us off to Underwood Market Place, parking besides the ramp out front and grabbing a trolley for us.
- First we both buy groceries from Woolies. I prefer shopping with the carers rather than the parents since they lemme sit on the self-serve checkout machine while they scan the items. While she was doing that, I proudly showed off my medal to the shop assistant manning the self-serve checkouts and she flashed the thumbs up to me!
- Our other stop was The Sushi Creators for my honey chicken arvo tea sushi roll. When the guy behind the counter looked up and saw me, I raised one finger into the air and he replied with a thumbs up. When we reached the counter, he slid my already packaged sushi to Jacinta over to Jacinta and said "Four dollars." Jacinta looks @ me, surprised. "When did you order?" She asked. I mime our little skit back @ her and she laughs. XD
- Back home, I take a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Jacinta who rinses out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch is one yummy bowl of the yummy tuna and pasta bake I cooked with Ari two days ago plus TWO more big mugs of white tea sweetened with one spoonful of honey; since PIG mum was eating her own lunch on the couch Jacinta and I had already worked out the deal: I'll hand you my empty mug after you've cleaned the bathroom and you make me one more big mug of white tea with sweetener. XD
- At 1:55pm I sat once more over the loo for two tinkles while PIG mum signed Jacinta off and shooed her away. She's back next Saturday fortnight.
- Did my daily Bible readings then plopped online for myself.
- Once I've used up the most important two hours of the day online I'll use the loo for one tinkle then sit and wait for PIG mum to gimme arvo tea (my honey chicken sushi roll). Looking forward to reading The Rose Code for awhile; it's only Saturday that I can spend a blessed three hours reading~
- Hoping I'll watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 180TH time!
- Tonight I need to get cracking on my birthday celebrations post but I'll leave Nine Now playing and listen to the Roosters play the Dolphins; Phins up!
- Toms: just church, nothing special. Oh, the special thing's I've got support from 11am till 1/2pm for lunch @ Ho Lin Wah then personal care @ home since PIG mum's out having her weekly gossip and coffee social with her aunty friends!
- Then I think there's another finals match toms night!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl else looking forward to seeing everyone @ church toms!
