Thursday Post 304

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I';ve been hard @ work plodding 3562 steps (ha, I'm just over 3.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic's 'If He Calls, He Keeps' and thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Yoked Together With Jesus' but fourthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ONE HOUR and FORTY-FIVE MINUTES online afterwards!! Anyways, events for today?

  • Woo hoo, 10TH consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:10am, and after one pot :P trip,

I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
Cheers,
Em. ^^
P.S. All the interesting surnames I saw while watching the 6pm bulletin (Nine's, read by Andrew Lofthouse) for the 45TH time: Zelensky (heard), Fegan, Yvette (first name), D'Ath, Bronte (first name), Gildea (pronounced 'Gil-day), Pullar, Petley, Uhlmann, Albanese (heard), Rudd (heard), Zelensky, Sheeran (heard), Cavallaro, Brasch, Baxter, Sailor, Willis, Genovese, Rumer (first name), Crisafulli, Rock, Piortrowski, Wanda (first name), Sykes, Winestein (heard), Tuma, Somers (heard), Rapira, Bronish, Thurston (heard), Gottlieb, Bates, Daugunu, Bancroft, Sydes, Jeffree, Nowland, Greer, Tanayah (first name), Jaimee (first name, girl) and Cleary (heard). 74.71USc = 1AUD.Wally Lewis read the sports report and Garry Youngberry read the weather report from Bribie Island. Brisbane was 21-29 today. Mt. Gravatt toms: 17-27. Sunrise 5:57am Sunset 5:47pm
P.P.S. Continuing today's events:

  • One hour later, I'm awoken to heed nature's call (another pot :P trip) when PIG mum goes a-THUMPING upstairs to get changed for her half day's work. Only the phone rings, and when mother lets herself into my room before bolting off for her half day's work, she says that Karina's called in sick and CODA's still looking for someone to take me out! o_O
  • After she'd left, dad entered my room and someone had been found but wasn't available until 10:30am so go back to sleep.
  • I comply, but around 10am when dad randomly enters my room I sit up and say I'll get myself kitted first; when the carer arrives she can help with my shoelaces coz PIG mum had already left out my day's clothes on the yellow stool for me.
  • When the new carer arrives, I've done most of it, but couldn't do my bra strap? I remember reading a post from some stroke support I'm a part of; someone said they'd gotten pretty good with doing things one-handed and could give tips if needed? I asked how can one do bra straps one handed coz don't you need both hands to hold and then clip the bra together? This woman replied she attaches the hooks before just pulling it over her head and I tried doing that this morning but unfortunately found out that while Ela's useless for functional tasks now Era has lost lotsa fine motor skills coz she couldn't clip the bra hooks together for me! ><
    • Fingers crossed I can bbl, coz I'm still owed ONE HOUR and ELEVEN MINUTES online!!
      Cheers,
      Em. ^^
