Thursday Post 303

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2352 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Ignorance Guarantees Ungodliness' and thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Listen To The Right Voice'. Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, 4th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:00am, and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*

  •  One hour later, I'm woken again for another pot :P trip, this time by noisy PIG mum beginning her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before returning back outside and awaiting Karina's arrival @ 7:30am.

  • Only suddenly CODA rings and says Karina's stuck in traffic, but she's coming! PIG mum decides she'll help me get kitted first and leave for work. Luckily, Karina arrives when I'm putting shoes on.

  • Thanks to Karina who squirted me some toothpaste; after brushing teeth I sat over the loo for only one tinkle, coming out when I realised I felt like doing a stinky unspeakable.

  • Breakfast was one bowl of the yummier, flaky bird food (what Dr. Ku calls All-Bran XD), one slice of toast spread with butter and strawberry jam, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Thanks to Karina who turned on Sunrise for my viewing pleasure; I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*

  • After breakfast, I sit once more over the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!

  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into Karina's passenger seat and she tootles me off to GCCW, going some backwards way coz her GPS had told her that Logan Road was blocked.

  • Upon arrival, I used the loo once and then stood waiting awhile for the librarian to unlock the door and let us in.

  • Like twelve people attended today. Thanks to Crystal who helped me once to the loo for morning tea and Stan who actually sang me some happy birthday song in Polish that went sth along the lines of living till 100! My homework was well-received; the member that calls me 'the bear girl' says he liked how I spelt thwpppdd' to express the spouting blood. XD

  • The lady with the squeaky voice even made mini meat pies for morning tea and I was given two extra slices to take home!

  • After one more loo trip, Karina tootled me off to C Cafe, finding a disabled park upstairs. I was grumpy coz the descending escalators weren't working and I had to haul myself down. >< *sigh*

  • For lunch I chose the three fried chicken wings and fried egg with rice in tomato sauce (but I got four!) with a cold HK-style milk tea and Karina got the BBQ pork and rice with a honey lemon Ribena and a can of Coke.

  • Back home, I took a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Karina who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.

  • I have one tinkle before Karina flips the nice warm water off, get dried, have another tinkle and get creamed. When Karina rekits me, I have one more tinkle when she's helping with Elf's AFO straps and one last when she's giving Wally back to Ela.

  • Back outside I split half of one slice of leftover birthday cake that I was given; I also drink some fruity infusion thing. Karina cleans the bathroom and then comes back to gently massage Ela briefly.

  • Before I sign Karina off with my thanks and byes, I use the loo once more for two tinkles. She's back next Thursday same time.

  • Looking forward to watching the news (Seven's) for the 41ST time!

  • Tonight's ice cream night, yay! Like I always say, a very little's better than none @ all!

  • Toms: think Vicki's minding me 9-1? No, I mean Peggy! Hopefully PIG mum'll lemme go buy a BBQ pork salad roll for lunch.

  • Tiff and Marissa are coming to gimme an OT session toms arvo; we're making choc chip muffins coz my Chopping Board Of Death's still in disgrace from slicing Era's poor right thumb open last week. XD

  • Toms night: Bunnies vs. Roosters; maybe I'll watch that?

  • Anyways, hopefully bbl tonight, else wishing everyone a smashing end to their week toms!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
