Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1991 steps (so certain I'll have cracked two grand before the day's out XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'What Binds The Hands Of Love'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Living By Faith' and fourthly, the spam count for the week's 196 (ooh, maybe it'll crack 200 before Friday runs out)! Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 11TH consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until the noisy garbage truck THUNDERED down the road and started tipping bins; after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- For some reason dad didn't come kiss me bye before leaving for work? Instead, I used the pot :P again about 7:45am and fell back asleep again.
- Shortly before Peggy arrives @ 9am, PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside and awaiting Peggy's arrival.
- Aww, Peggy's a good girl; after bidding me good morning and offering me fifteen more minutes, she bids Uber good morning too!
- When she comes back again, I use the pot :P for two/three more tinkles, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who squirts me some toothpaste~ Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for only one tinkle, coming out when I realise I feel like doing a stinky unspeakable.
- Breakfast is the yummy custard bun bought yesterday, one bowl of sticky bird food (what Dr. Ku calls All-Bran XD), all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I sit once more over the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against
the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the
saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my
day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NO
- That done, I wash and dry Era before climbing into Peggy's passenger seat. She kindly helps me with my seatbelt and then tootles us off to Calamvale Central for grocery shopping, walkies and lunch buying.
- Parking outside @ the end, Peggy grabs a trolley for us and we start buying from the Mega Discount Fruit Market. I only buy like two bananas and two avocados but Peggy buys FORTY BUCKS' worth of fruits and vegies! When I express amazement to the quantity she bought, she explains it's coz she only buys fruits and vegies once a fortnight.
- Next we tried looking for facial tissues but since the shelves had none left empty-handed.
- Our final stop was the bakery for my pork salad roll. When the uncle sees me, he waves hello and goes, "bbq pork?" I laugh and reply, "BBQ pork next week. Crispy pork today, please? No chilli." He nods and heads off to make it; his wife also wanders over and says hi.
- Everything bought, I climb back into Peggy's car (thanks to her who helped me with my seatbelt today) and she tootled me home.
- After turning the alarm off, I took a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- I had one tinkle before Peggy flipped the nice warm water off, got dried, got creamed and had another tinkle. When Peggy rekitted me, I had one more tinkle when she was helping with Elf's AFO straps and one last when she was giving Wally back to Ela.
- Back outside, lunch was my delicious BBQ pork salad roll; thanks to Peggy who made me one mug of delicious vanilla chai with milk.
- Dad came home just when Peggy was leaving; she's back again same time next Friday.
- Tiff and Marissa came and gave Ela an unfunctional session of OT. When they left I said all the best to Marissa coz she's really a Griffith OT student and I'll not see her again!
- After they left I tootled online for my most important two hours of the day. Once that's up, I'll head over to the gobbling :P table and see will PIG mum feed me any arvo tea.
- Ooh, maybe I'll watch the 6pm news (Seven's) for the 45TH time! Doubt dad will take us out for dinner though, even though it's worth an ask.
- Toms: Kim's minding me 10-2! Wonder will she remember to bring me my belated fried chicken sushi birthday present?? XD But hopefully she'll take me for walkies somewhere~
- Think dad will take me play ping pong with him toms arvo?
- Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
