Wednesday Post 304

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2103 steps (ha, I'm over two grand XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Where Our Comfort Comes From' and thirdly, TWFT topic's 'What To Do When You Feel Down (1)'. Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, for the first time in four days, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:20am and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Usually nature calls hourly after that initial pot :P trip, but happiness was snoring soundly until dearest dad very considerately walked along the hallway and unpopped the lock leading into the garage before waking for another pot :P trip.
  • After dearest dad's kissed me goodbye, retucked me into bed and left for his hard day's work, JUbner and I happily cuddle and snore for about another hour, me waking for the pot :P once more shortly before noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside and awaiting Vicki's arrival @ 8am.
  • Once she arrives, I get fifteen more minutes and use the pot :P for several more tinkles while we chat about what we've done since we last saw each other one week ago. After we get me kitted, we head out to the kitchen and I brush teeth, before sitting down @ the gobbling :P table.
  • Breakfast is one bowl of Sultana Bran with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast lightly smeared with avocado and given a shake of salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*

  •  After breakfast, Vicki accompanies me upstairs to the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side wall (it's only a very narrow cubicle XD) and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!

  • That finished, I come back down, wash and dry Era @ the kitchen tap and sit for Vicki to slather some sunscreen over me, before I get into her passenger seat and she tootles me off to Underwood MarketPlace for walkies and grocery shopping.

  • Vicki parks around the back and grabs us a trolley to push together. First, we browse Big W since she's looking for a new wallet but since she can't find one go buy groceries @ Wollies instead.

  • Then there's time to sit and play with our mobiles, hoorah! I actually pass one more Candy Crush level and two/three more Saga levels. XD Vicki goes to buy herself a kebab for lunch and returns also with a cup of chips covered with chicken salt! She shares some with me; whoever invented chicken salt deserves a Nobel peace prize! (Oh, I asked Mr. Google who invented chicken salt and learnt some guy from S.A called Peter Brinkworth in the 1970s!

  • Back home, I took a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Vicki who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.

  • I had one tinkle before Vicki flipped the nice warm water off, got dried, had another tinkle and got creamed. When Vicki rekitted me, I had one more tinkle when she was helping with Elf's AFO straps and one last when she went to fetch my bag for me.

  • Back outside, lunch was one bowl of leftover fried rice covered with a mountain of yummy cauliflower and one delicious mug of chai. At 1pm, I headed over to the computer and signed Vicki off with my thanks and byes. She's back again same time next week.

  • Ten minutes after Vicki left, I got into the backseat of PIG mum's 4WD and she tootled me off to see Ray for some massage. Of course, she gleefully forced me to buckle my own seatbelt both ways (but Vicki helped me with it this morning) and Era helped Ela stretch for twenty minutes, before Ela opened and closed her palm 150 times, holding each for a count of five.

  • At Ray's, I used the loo myself for one tinkle and then lay down for some massage and acupuncture. PIG mum was in her element, of course, yapping unceasingly @ him; my gracious thanks to Ray who always replied and kept a conversation flowing.

  • That finished, I visited the loo once more, PIG mum tootled me home and I popped online while she went to fetch the new antivirus software she'd brought from UMart.
Once I've used up my most important two hours of the day, I'll head over to the gobbling :P table, munch my arvo tea sushi roll and hopefully read for one hour, before returning online for choir practice.

  • Toms: Karina's taking me shopping! Unsure will the parents demand I read @ home first/may I read @ the library. Definitely buying takeaway home for lunch, though; Pastor Grace will join us! Pity that Reverend Chris can't coz he's otherwise preoccupied.

  • Ooh, since PIG mum'll most likely sleep the afternoon and night away, fingers crossed I'll get to watch the 6pm bulletin for the 30TH time!

  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else hope everyone's having a smashing week!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
