Saturday Post 295

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I’ve been hard @ work plodding only 557 steps (because obviously, I’ve not left the house today) and secondly, TWFT topic’s ‘Take ‘The People Of War With You’”. Anyways, events for today?

• Woo hoo, 9^th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature called @ 6:20am and after one pot :P trip, I immediately tried falling back asleep coz I knew PIG mum would start being noisy one hour later!
• Like clockwork, @ 6:20am PIG mum starts a-THUMPING around upstairs. I wake to use the pot :P again, before spending the ten minutes till 7:30am beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
• The computer internet’s being slow today; I’ve already played two games of Bejeweled lasting more than eight minutes and one more lasting 7:59! Will promise to willingly hit the sack tonight, despite not playing my usual two games. XD Only I’ve spent too long playing and have only like thirty minutes left, so just briefly:
• Besta minded me from 10am till 2pm today. Actually, she was ten minutes late and explained ‘twas due to the inclement weather, which made traffic slow.
• During and after breakfast I happily read for 100 minutes, reaching pg. twenty-five @ 11:12am and then page fifty @ 11:40am.
• Only had a brief phone chat to Aunty Lai for 1:53 coz she was leaving for her ‘lei mun wuy’ (say that in Canto).
• Instead, I kept reading (reached pg. seventy-five @12:22pm then showered @ 12:30pm.
• Kim returned the parking permit and my jacket.
• Toms: just church, nothing special. Oh, the special thing can be that Bible Study for Term Four’s resuming!
• Hopefully bbl, else hope to see everyone @ church toms!
