Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2875 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'How Can I Be Filled With The Spirit?'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Live The Living Word'; fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Using What God Provides' and can you believe it: the spam box's empty!! Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until I was woken by the noisy garbage truck THUNDERING down our road to tip bins; after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pijum, Pearl and I cuddle and snore, I wake for the pot :P again @ 7:45am and then not again until almost 9am, when noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside and awaiting Peggy's arrival.
- After PIG mum lets Peggy in, Peggy knocks, pushes open the door, sticks her head inside and announces, "Fifteen more minutes." I flop Pijum's ear @ her indicating I'd heard and accepted the offer but wonder why Peggy forgot to say good morning. Once Peggy closes the door and I've counted down the first two of 900 remaining seconds, the door suddenly reopens and Peggy goes, "Oh, and good morning." Pijum gives another earflop and Peggy removes herself for fifteen more minutes. XD
- When Peggy comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who's squirted some toothpaste for me.
- Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then head out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy, who told me that she had her usual two hardboiled eggs with salt for breakfast this morning.
- For my own breakfast, I munch one yummy bowl of Minus :P, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy \the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Peggy walks with me back to the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into Ulrich's passenger seat and Peggy tootles me off to Breathe for physio. Thanks to Peggy who kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt all day; since we arrive early, I get about ten minutes to play the HP version of Bejeweled and pass another level!
- Physio today: 1.464km bike ride, 36 leg assisted pull-ups, 36 split squats, 36 lat rows for Ela and boxing!
- After one loo trip, Peggy tootles us back to Warrigal Square and grabs a trolley for us. We buy ingredients for my cooking session this arvo!
- Back home, I took a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who rinsed out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye fully shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted Peggy made me a yummy tuna in tomato and onion toastie with TWO cheese and HEAVILY buttered on the inside! That was washed down with one mug of green tea.
- Before Peggy left, I sat over the loo for two tinkles and then I just played with my mobile while waiting for Grace's arrival.
- Once she got here, I made a chicken stirfry with her! See Facebook for photos~
- When the parents arrived home I thought I'd get some chicken stirfry for arvo tea but PIG mum refused, saying we'll share that for dinner! Instead, she gave me one juice pear, about half a tasty cracker and one mug of delicious Chinese tea.
- Before plopping online, I used the loo for one tinkle.
- Looking forward to watching the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 59TH time tonight.
- Toms: perhaps expect a super-pissy plodding total from me? Was catching up with Annie for lunch but she's postponed that till next Saturday. Fingers crossed PIG mum helps me up around 9am, fries me an egg for breakfast and takes me grocery shopping and aisle walking somewhere else expect a super-pissy plodding total from me, since I doubt dad will take me to play table tennis @ church coz he's unwell.
- Anyways, hopefully bbl after dinner, else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
P.S. All the interesting surnames I saw while watching the 6pm news (Nine's, read by Andrew Lofthouse and Melissa Downes) for the 59TH time: Chicco, Sydes - whoops I saved them on another post. Doesn't matter! XD
