Sunday Post 147c

Good evening! Firstly, Em's new plodding total for Sunday now stands @ 3301 (which D2 proudly reports as also equaling thirty-three kcal or 1.38km XD and secondly, Joni's devotional topic's ... hey, it's 7pm but it still hasn't arrived yet? Dunno ... anyways, continuing today's events?
-We shared my favourite fish fillet with sweet corn sauce in rice, the Asian set lunch for today. I drank a cold milk tea, while PIG mum had something like a rasberry Fanta? uncle Colbert, Aunty Winnie and Uncle NSW joined us for lunch; I took the opportunity to show Aunty Winnie that I had really completed @ least ninety in that 4Pics1Word game. XD
-BTW, Joni's devotional topic's A Sacrifice of Thanks'.
-After I'd finished lunch, PIG mum took me once to the loo, before we (Kwany, Mel Mel, PIG mum and I) went upstairs to Kwany's car. Thanks to PIG mum who helped me with my seatbelt, and Kwany tootled us off to visit Jono, Dora and baby Isabella!
-While Kwany drove us to where they lived (in Salisbury somewhere), a MASSIVE storm was EXPLODING! Luckily, Kwany's car came equipped with an umbrella, so Mel Mel walked behind me into the Try residence!
-We sat down, Jono poured us water and we waited for Dora and baby Isabella to appear. When they arrived, we gave them our gifts (card and gift voucher from somewhere from me, a baby jumpsuit for Mel Mel and Kwany) and said our congratulations!
-Kwany and Mel Mel asked to hold baby Isabella; I asked Dora would I be able to, also. Dora said yes, but got Mel Mel to move me over to the sofa and asked Jono (who's one year younger than me and currently on some plastic surgery rotation shift @ the hospital) to get her the pillow/cushion she used to feed baby Isabella with), then she placed baby Isabella on my lap and taught me how to support her neck! She's very fragile still, only being ten days old! The adorable thing was, just as Dora was placing her onto my lap, baby Isabella stretched, catching me in the head/face with her fists! But don't worry; ten day-old babies aren't very strong yet; she didn't knock me out. XD
-While I cradled her, Jono fed us all caramel Tim Tams and cherries! I had two each~
-When more visitors arrived @ 4pm, Mel Mel walked behind me once to the loo, where I managed fine by myself.
-Back outside, Mel Mel and Kwany decided 'twas time to leave, and before going out, I went over to bid baby Isabella goodbye. Her eyes were finally open!
-Kwany tootled me back home, and I plopped online until PIG mum demanded 'twas time I showered. It's still a very limited shower for me, and obviously, I washed and rinsed my own hair today, dried and rekitted myself. PIG mum helped with NOTHING bar Elf's AFO. And somehow, that gives her the right to say that she 'showered' me? Lol, I don't understand Chinese culture. XD
-Back online, I continued blogging until the parents called dinner. Before joining them, I took myself once slowly and safely to the loo and back, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God's near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
-Dinner tonight: the yummy rice, lotsa home-grown vegies (I presume; PIG mum for whatever reason that so pleased her refused to tell me; it was so chewy!) and some leftover pork mince from the dumplings I made yesterday. For some reason, dad decided to chuck another cow @ me, I've learnt it's best to remain silent and let him rant and rave rather than responding.
-Afterwards, I read The Chosen for @ least five more minutes, before I let PIG mum gleefully FORCE :( me to walk back online.
-Anyways, fingers crossed I can bbl with my final, final plodding total for Sunday, final, final events for tonight plus what's happening toms, else hope everyone has a smashing week ahead!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
