Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3585 steps (ha, I'm just over 3.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'God Heals By Humbling'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Problem Solving (2)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Signs Of Life' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ONE HOUR and TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 165TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Lol since I'd woken with a full bladder @ 11:55pm, used the pot :P quickly and was back in bed before Saturday arrived, I thought I was guaranteed another awesome night's sleep; why the heck did I wake with another full bladder @ 2:45am?? >< XD
- Nature called again @ 6:20am when PIG mum woke me with her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs and after a third pot :P trip I fell back asleep immediately, since I knew noisy PIG mum would get very loud again one hour later!
- Like clockwork, @ 7:20am noisy PIG mum goes a-THUMPING upstairs for her morning's work, waking me again to relieve myself. After my 4th pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- After dearest dad retucks Pearl and me back into bed, says he's already prepared leftovers for my lunch and promised to stay quiet so that we could snore in peace, before returning to sleep I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- Usually nature calls once around 8:45am but like I told dad, I still needed one more big sleep to catchup on all the missed sleep from the SG retreat over the long weekend and indeed, I slept so soundly I didn't wake again until dearest dad very considerately walked silently along the hallway and unpopped the lock into the garage before waking for another pot :P trip! Happiness was waking fully refreshed; I've finally caught up on all the sleep I missed over the long weekend~
- Nisha knocks, pushes open the door, calls good morning and fifteen more minutes? Pearl nods @ her and Nisha wisely removes herself, even though I've - bbl!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
