Good afternoon! I'm back; SG retreat and Toowoomba were a blast! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1245 steps; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's "God Isn't Gloomy"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'The Need For Connectnedness (2) and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Mirror Test'. Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 11TH consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:05am when Annette tapped me awake; obviously I'd slept through C1, C2 and N;s rampaging around this morning! After getting kitted, I brushed teeth, sat over the loo for one tinkle, sat down into Sparkless3 and wheeled myself out into the living room for breakfast. Since I was going backwards, I sounded my reversing alarm and went 'meep, meep, meep'; to my delight, C1 recognised my voice and cheerily called out, "Good morning, Aunty Em!"
- I've been terribly spoilt for food over this long weekend; apart from getting Coco Pops for breakfast, Fiona and Ronnie cooked scrambled eggs with chives and Annette made me two little mugs of white tea with one spoonful of honey~
- Did a stinky unspeakable after breakfast and then went out onto the balcony and posed for happy snaps with everyone who lived inside our apartment!
- After everybody checked out @ 10am; we all took big group photos together before climbing into our respective cars, saying byes and cya back in Brisbane. Thanks muchly to Annette who helped me buckle my seatbelt all day~
- Yay that PIG mum said we could have lunch out when Annette said I had enough money left!
- Annette decided Eight Street @ Garbo but she thought 'twas outside @ the Piazza and we wheeled me all the way there (originally I thought she'd have me walk but she got out Sparkless3 for me meaning I could WINDOWSHOP while we wheeled me) and then I was like uhh pretty sure Eight Street's down the other end. XD Stopped to browse new releases from QBD; Matthew Reilly has a new book out and Santa, I want that book for Christmas please!!
- Falalala sells the Korean Fried chicken and I got a pearl milk tea from Gong Cha; was very embarrassed when I could use the app on my mobile for a cheaper drink deal and the person @ the counter says um that's ChaTime; we're Gong Cha. XD Afterwards I even had enough cash for an ice cream (frozen yoghurt soft serve) from Frutti Tutti! Told Annette I'm SO FULL right now; definitely won't need arvo tea and dunno can I fit dinner in!
- Great timing; the parents returned home just as Annette pulled up the driveway! I climbed outta the car, hugged the parents I'm back and then headed into the bathroom for my nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Annette who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and kitted I booted up the computer while Annette cleaned the bathroom, blew dried my hair and very gently massaged Ela until I signed her off with massive thanks and byes @ 4pm; she's back 9-1 next Monday.
- Looking forward to watching the 6pm news bulletin (Seven's) for the 156TH time this year!
- Toms: Hannah's minding me 9-1. Holiday over, immediately back to physio toms and the day after. *sigh*

- Hopefully bbl after dinner, else wishing everyone a smashing day toms!

Em. ^^
