Friday Post 344

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4082 (sweet, I'm just over four grand and for the second consecutive day, too!); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Happy God'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'You Need Adequate Sleep; fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Birds Of The Air'; fifthly, the spam count for last week's actually twenty-five; sixthly, the spam count for the weekend was only six and seventhly, the spam count for the week's twenty. Anyways, events for today?

  •  Aww, nature ended my awesome sleep streak just after midnight; I'm just relieved I achieved the 10TH time I achieved one straight week of awesome sleeps before she ruined it! XD
  • Next time nature called 'twas 7:35am and the Sun had already risen; I woke when dearest dad very thoughtfully walked silently along the hallway and unpopped the lock into the garage. After another pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Once dearest dad kisses me bye, retrucks me back into bed and leaves for his hard day's work, Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P shortly before noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside to await Peggy's arrival @ 9am.
  • After Peggy arrives, PIG mum lets her in. She bids me good morning, asks fifteen more minutes and then cooes when she sees Pearl!
  • When Peggy comes back, I use the pot :P for three more tinkles, we get me kitted and I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who squirted me some toothpaste. Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for just one tinkle, coming out when I realised I felt like doing a stinky unspeakable.
  • Breakfast is three yummy Weet-Bix squirted with one stream of honey each, the yummy vanilla custard bun Karina had bought for me while I was reading @ the library yesterday, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*

  • After breakfast, I sit once more over the loo. . There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into Peggy's passenger seat and she tootles me off to the NAB.
  • Two hour physio session today: Five rounds clock yourself (col), thirty sit-to-stands with left weightshifting, stepping for both legs, took a walk outside around the new half basketball court (Jun wheelchair me down before walking back into the NAB.
  • Back home, I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and rekitted, Peggy made me one mug of white tea with two sugars and a tuna in tomato and onion toastie cut into two rectangles for lunch (I asked her to please butter it but she doesn't know how to make it crunchy like Annette does!), blewdried my hair and cleaned the bathroom. When the parents came back from wherever they'd been this morning, PIG mum signed her off and she left with my thanks and byes. She's back same time next Friday but her dog Ellie might need a hip replacement!
  • Tiff came and I cooked chicken rice with her! Dad says we'll eat that for dinner tonight but PIG mum was mean and only lemme have a banana for arvo tea, no bikkies. >< *hmph*
  • While drinking some wrm infusion, I kept reading, finishing pg. 475 @ 3:21pm and finally FINISHING that awful book @ 3:29! Yay now I can read the last Silver Brumby book for five days before the next book club!
  • One more tinkle for me before I plopped online.
  • Looking forward to watching Nine's 6pm news bulletin for the 160TH time!
  • Toms: I'm really hoping my sleep-in will cure the tiredness I've been feeling since exiting small group retreat back Monday; fingers crossed!
  • Nisha's minding me 10am till 2pm. Will shower after getting home from walkies (hopefully @ Calamvale Central) with her since I don't get 4-6pm support Saturdays anymore.
  • Will ask dad is there any table tennis @ church toms but looking forward to my three big mugs of white tea and fingers crossed for the chance to read for two/three hours toms! Anyways, hopefully bbl, else  wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
