Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2189 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Absolute, Sovereign, Almighty Love'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'The Benefits Of Meditating On God's Word' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "Our Heart's True Home". Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 12TH consecutive awesome sleep last night! PIG mum woke me for the pot :P when she suddenly went a-THUMPING around upstairs, and after that, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- *Usually, nature calls hourly after that initial pot :P trip, but Pearl, Uber and I happily snore until dearest dad very thoughtfully walks silently along the hallway and unpops the lock into the garage before waking again for the pot. :P
- After dearest dad kisses me bye (I introduce him to Pearl; silly dad pretends to drink one of his pearls and I fly into a rage on Pearl's behalf, bopping dad's head with him XD), retucks me back into bed and leaves for his hard day's work, we snore together for about another hour, me waking once more for the pot :P shortly before noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo, before going back outside and awaiting Hannah's arrival.
- Once Hannah arrives, she knocks, pushes open the door, says good morning, fifteen more minutes and wisely leaves when Pearl nods @ her, thus saving her from the wrath of the Bear Bum. Hmm, since Pearl isn't a teddy bear, can he still give a bear bum? Will ask PIG mum. XD
- When Hannah gets back, I use the pot :P for three more tinkles, we get me kitted and I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Yeah, Ela enjoys another morning's break ~
- Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle. After washing and drying Era, I walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is one bowl of Minus :P with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast lightly spread with avocado then equally lightly sprinked with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely to the loo, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming
hatred and not letting him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also
leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to
Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to
make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NO
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into Hannah's tank and she tootles me off to Breathe.
- Physio today with Jacky: Lat pulldown (three sets of twelve for each hand), thirty sit-to-stands holding calisthenics rings, pulling the reformer (three sets of twelve) with trunk rotation and boxing!
- That done, I climb back into Hannah's tank and she tootles me off to Calamvale Cental to buy facial tissues from Woolies and my bahn mi from the Vietnamese bakery. Only since the session before me ended late, Jacky held me doing exercises with him for longer; while Hannah drove us to Calamvale Central would I be okay to order our bahn mis while she ducks into Woolies and gets some facial tissues? As long as there's enough time my shower and time for you to rinse the bathroom before you leave, I don't mind~ I reply.
- At the bakery I give our orders (Hannah wanted one too) to the young girl manning the counter; when the uncle appears I wave hi to him too and he calls out a greeting. When he comes within earshot, I simplify my English and ask you open over long weekend? Uncle replies huh? I try again. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday holiday. You open? Uncle goes ahh no open Monday. I tell him I holiday in Redcliffe! He replies ahh, you see temple? What temple, I ask. Lotsa Buddhist temple there, uncle replies. I ask are you Buddhist? When uncle nods, I ask him which ones the actual buddha? Think there's lots ... the fat buddha, the many arms Buddha ... which one real? Uncle laugh and say all Buddha real. He just good man. I wanted to ask then good man mean not God? But there were customers waiting behind me, I just said thanks uncle bye; cya next week and climbed back into Hannah's tank.
- Took a nice hot shower when I got home - hairwash today. Also thanks to Hannah who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut. Since Hannah left the bathroom after I washed my face, I got to sing 20% of my shorter second-favourite song softly, slowly but most hatefully out aloud. Actually, I was all done only after like 9%, but happily leaned fully against the right side rail and watered myself for another tinkle before calling Hannah back.
- I have one tinkle before I flip the nice hot water off, get dried, get creamed and have another tinkle. When Hannah rekits me, I have one more tinkle when she's helping with Erf's sock and one last one when I'm drying inside the ears with a tissue.
- Back outside, I munch my delicious pork salad roll for lunch and drink one mug of peppermint tea. Hannah was hungry and already munched her pork salad roll while I was having a shower so she just drank her Pepsi Max and tapped @ her mobile until I asked her please massage Ela for ten minutes; I'll sign you off @ 2pm.
- Since she's too busy playing with her mobile while very gently brushing Ela she doesn't take notice of the time but since PIG mum doesn't like having carers in our house and today she for some reason didn't feel like yapping @ Hannah, @ 2:01pm she got up and said she'll sign Hannah off. I added my thanks and byes; she's back again same time next Monday.
- I happily played Jewel Hereos over lunch; I passed another three levels today! XD
- Before plopping online, I used the loo for one tinkle.
- Suddenly the doorbell rang! I answered it, some cheerful voice called back hi, we're the missionaries! I said we're not interested, thanks; after checking we're all good she left and I headed back to the computer.
Toms: seeing Ray for some massage and acupuncture toms; bet PIG mum's simply DYING to yap ceaselessly @ him. XD - Going home for lunch then off to the NAB for physio with Kim!
- She'll see me home and showered before leaving @ 5pm.
