Friday Post 457

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1803 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Hour Of Unusual Threat'; thirdly, TWFT topic's "Navigating Life's Losses (2); fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Praying In Difficult Times'; fifthly, the spam count for the weekend's actually five and sixthly, the spam count for the weekend's eleven. Anyways, events for today?

  • Nature called once last night and once more shortly before sunrise; the sky was lightening but 'twas still too dark to make out the time from my wall clock. The Winter months are coming, eep! o_O
  • Shortly before dearest dad kisses me bye, retucks me back into bed and leaves for his hard day's work, I wake for the pot :P before I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Jacinta comes and helps me up @ 9am. Oh, and my monthlies arrived this morning.
  • After brushing teeth and using the loo for one tinkle, I wash and dry Era before walking myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
  • Breakfast is one bowl of the yummier (flaky) bird food *(what Dr. Ku calls All-Bran XD), all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*

  • .After breakfast, I sit once more over the loo.    There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into the backseat of Jacinta's car, she kindly helps me with my seatbelt both ways and then she tootles us off to Sunnybank Plaza, finding a disabled park under the cinemas.
  • Lol, I told Jacinta if she wanted the free ticket from my companion card she had to shout the popcorn but she declined. Sudden;y, the awesome lady @ the counter says oh I'll just give you a free snack popcorn! :"D
  • I used the loo once. Unsurprisingly, our cinema was @ the very end on the left but we had seats right where you entered and didn't need to hike any stairs, phew.
  • I loved the pink jelly blob thing! There was a satisfying amount of violence but thankfully no blood.
  • After another loo trip, Jacinta tootled me home. Just when I got home Christy jie rang and said can I cone visit? I told her come @ 2pm once the carer leaves!
  • So a nice warm shower for me - hairwash today. Also thanks to Jacinta who helps me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and rekitted lunch is one yummy toasted runa in tomato and onion sandwich cut into two rectangles and one yummy mug of peppermint tea. Jacinta cleans the bathroom and I sign her off with my thanks and byes @ 2pm. Think she's back next Wednesday and taking me to para table tennis again~
  • Christy jie came for a visit! Wow, her baby (just over one year old now and called Micah) weighed 4KG @ birth! She had a C-section coz she's got a bad back. She even brought along one bag of milk tea mochi; we had two each: delicious!
  • When she left I walked her out, used the loo once myself and then plopped online.
  • Doubt dad will take us out for dinner tonight so looking forward to watching the 6pm news bulletin for the 34TH time!
  • Toms: getting my once-weekly sleep-in till 10am when Nisha comes and minds me till 2pm.
  • EM Rewind happens toms arvo so I'm unsure if I'll have time to play ping pong together @ church.
  • Still, looking forward to my three big mugs of white tea with two sugars and the chance to  read for 1.5/2 hours toms!
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing week ahead!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
