Saturday Post 455

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2293 steps today; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's "Saving Faith Isn't Easily Satisfied"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'You Are Being Pruned (1)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'An Undeserved Gift' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm bulletin for the 24TH time!! Anyways, events for today?

  • Nature called once @ 12:15am; I used the pot :p again @ 6:05am before I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • PIG mum begins her noisy daily a-THUMPING around upstairs five minutes after I've started falling back asleep; once her STOMPING stops I quickly fall back asleep since I'm certain she'll get very noisy again one hour later!
  • Like clockwork, I'm awoken for another pot :P trip when noisy PIG mum goes a-THUMPING upstairs to get changed for her half-day's work. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before she leaves. Once she's gone, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After dearest dad retucks me back into bed, promises to stay quiet so we can snore in peace and says he'll leave me some rice leftovers for Nisha to reheat for my lunch, we happily cuddle and snore, me waking twice more for the pot :P before Nisha announces her arrival @ 10am.
  • After dad lets her in, she knocks, pushes the door open, says fifteen more minutes and wisely leaves when I flap Pijum's ear @ her, even though Pijum's too long to give the Bear Bum. XD
  • After I've counted down my fifteen more minutes, I swing myself over to the pot :P for two more tinkles, calling out to Nisha that I'm hungry. She comes, we catch each other up on what happened last week (she didn't come coz we were interstate) and then we get me kitted.
  • After brushing teeth, I drink one mug of water and then sit over the loo proper. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!

  •  After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table for breakfast. Thanks to dearest dad who's cooked his weekly omelette and eggs and thanks to Nisha who tries to cook the bread yummy with butter. I drink my first big mug of white tea with two sugars and happily start reading Dylan Alcott's memoir for thirty minutes, finishing page seventy-five @ 11:16am.

  • While Nisha closed and locked windows, I used the loo for one more tinkle and then climbed into Nisha's passenger seat before she tootled us off to Calamvale Central, finding a park outside the bakery and grabbing a shopping trolley for us.

  • Our first stop was to Woolies, where I grabbed a box of cheap facial tissues and Nisha got a bottle of sth called sth like Hydralite ... it's meant to cure hangovers? See, after her shifts ends tonight, she's gonna crash her partner's place and they're gonna drink to the wee hours! Luckily she's not working toms ... XD

  • Our other stop was the Japanese shop, where I chose a calamari sushi roll for arvo tea before Nisha tootles us home.
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
