Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2736 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'What Moves You To Minister?'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Are You Joy-Deprived?'; fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Deep Waters' and fifthly, the spam count for the week's eleven, but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed TWENTY MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 107TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Not AGAIN! >< I specifically prayed to God last nigfht asking Him please NOT to send that noisy garbage truck THUNDERING down our road and tipping bins until AFTER the Sun has risen enough that I can see the time from the clock on the wall, but no, He's deliberately sending that thing hurtling down our road BEFORE sunrise! Well, two can play @ that game: if he's gonna ignore me, I'm gonna ignore Him too. PIG mum jeers @ me who do you think you are? You can't win God! Well, I'm not trying to win God. I'm just saying I'll not let him win. Hence why I successfully sang myself back to sleep without accident, ha.
- Yay, 4th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:35am when dearest dad very thoughtfully walked silently down the hallway and unpopped the lock into the garage and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Ten minutes later, dad came and kissed me bye before leaving for his hard day's work; fifteen minutes after that, Pehhy arrived to help me up, only she forgot to gimme fifteen more minutes! Pijum and I were like score, we're gonna get thirty more minutes today! XD
- When Peggy returned and tried yanking blankets off me, I grabbed them back and muttered, fifteen more minutes; shoo. She got PIG mum who rushed into my room and immediately ordered me up; I was GRUMPY and wanted to go FULL MORGENMUFFEL on her!! >< XD
- After we got me kitted, I headed over to the bathroom and brushed teeth (thanks to Peggy who squirted some toothpaste for me), sat over the loo for one tinkle, washed and dried Era and then headed out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy walking behind me.
- Breakfast was one bowl of Weett-Bix porridge with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast, one full mug of water, all my usual drugs :P and half a coffee bun that PIG mum baked last night! Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I sit over the loo once more. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into Peggy's passenger seat, she kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt and then tootles me off to the NAB for physio. Lol, we arrive so early I get like thirty minutes to play Jewel Quest before heading up! XD
- Upstairs, I use the disabled loo for one tinkle and head into the NAB.
- Physio today: Eighty sit-to-stands with left and forward weightshift, stepping for Erf, 1.22km bike ride and five laps hallway walking. I gave them a bar of chocolate each saying thanks, bye and please find me on Facebook!
- After Peggy tootled me home, I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, Peggy made me a yummy tuna in tomato and onion toastie with one slice of cheese and HEAVILY buttered on one side plus one mug of white tea with two sugars before going to clean the bathroom. At 1:55pm I sat over the loo for two more tinkles before plopping online. PIG mum came home a few minutes before 2pm, immediately signed Peggy off and shooed her away.
- Today Tiff arrived with a Griffith OT students to assess Ela! 'Twas easy for me; I just lay face-up on my bed and chatted with the student while Tiff tested Ela.
- That done, I used the loo for one tinkle and then sat down @ the computer with the OTs to find the recipe my Chopping Board Of Death will help make next Friday.
- When they left, I headed over to the gobbling :P table and read the book club novel for one hour while waiting for PIG mum to wake up, come downstairs and feed me some arvo tea.
- Eventually she passed meb one yummy banana, one mouthful of gloopy passionfruit, one plain rice cracker and one big mug of peppermint tea. I reached pg. twenty-five @ 3:27pm and finished page fifty @ exactly 4:05pm.
- Before popping online I sat over the loo for two more tinkles. Have also visited the loo for another tinkle.
- Dad's just said he's eating dinner now coz he's gonna see Ray for some acupuncture and massage soon but he'll come home and drink soup with me~
- Toms: getting my once-weekly sleep-in until Nisha minds me from 10-2. Looking forward to my three big mugs of white tea and the opportunity to read the new book club novel for three hours!
- Looking forward to playing table tennis with dearest dad toms arvo~
- Anyways, hopefully bbl after dinner else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
