Thursday Post 366

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4488 steps (ooh I'm over four grand, which doesn't happen often and bet I'll pass 4.5 grand before the night's over, too! XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'His Timing Is Perfect'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Are You Being Led/Being Driven?' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Pouting On Humility' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ELEVEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 112ND time!! Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, for the first time in three days, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:35am and after one pot :P trip I immediately fell back asleep because I knew PIG mum would get very noisy one hour later!
  • Like clockwork, PIG mum wakes me with her noisy daily a-THUMPING around upstairs; after another pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Not only that, but after not having any last year, I HAD A FOOD DREAM!! :D I'd just attended some wedding ceremony (sorry, the newlyweds didn't appear so I couldn't congratulate them XD) and afterwards I was wandering around nibbling a mini quiche and when Dr. Lee appears to grumble that I'm eating, I flip him the bird!!! XD I know why: before GG started last night, Dr. Lee was talking about giving the bird; I was like uh, doc, you mean this? Before flipping him a very gentle, non-aggressive middle finger and he nodded!
  • PIG mum lets herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going outside to await Karina's arrival @ 7:30am.
  • After my fifteen more minutes, I use the pot :P for only one more tinkle (since I wanna have more reading time @ the library), we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Karina who squirts some toothpaste for me.
  • Teeth brushed, I head out to the gobbling :P table for breakfast: some Weet-bix porridge with one slice of (dry) unbuttered) bread, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • Breakfast over, I sit over the loo once more. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into Karina's car's passenger seat, she kindly helps me with my seatbelt (as she kindly does all day) and then she tootles me off to Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown for my fortnightly shopping trip, finding park along level two.
  • Usually, after grabbing a trolley for us, we begin the trip with a loo trip on level two but today the entrance was barricaded with a sign! Hence why we caught the lift up one level and used the toilets along level three before beginning our shopping.
  • Actually, while Karina found the groceries, I sat outside Coles and posted an update onto  Facebook. When she came back, we began shopping upstairs on  Coles, returned downstairs to New York Baguette where I bought a chocolate bun and then finished grocery shopping @ Woollies.
  • After that lunch followed. Sweet Karina  found a parking spot right outside Ho Lin Wah!
  • Inside I sat down. The waitress  recognised me and came over to try and tell me the set meals but she speaks Cantonese with a dreadful accent  and I had no idea what she was saying!! XD I glanced @ the blackboard, recognised the word for 'pig'  and asked, 'pork'? Phew and then she remembered the other word as mince! XD
  • Karina and I both had the pork in white sauce with rice but I was super-impressed that the dish not only came with carrots, green beans and slices of onion but even slices of BACON! I drank mine with a cold HK-style milk tea and the clever waitress even remembered that Karina always orders a Coke!
  • After lunch, Karina tootles me off to the NAB for physio. Whoops she's silly and takes the wrong exit off the highway. XD
  • But I arrive in good time; after sitting over the loo for one tinkle I head into the gym.
  • My new student's called Lachlan; he's twenty-two coz before physio he studied one year of exercise physiology.
  • Physio today: Sixty sit-to-stands with left weight shift, stepping for Erf with more left weight shift and eight laps hallway walking. Even better, before I left, Lachlan gave me two mini chocolate Fredo frogs! Robyn (I keep confusing her with Monique! >< XD) asked will your mum be okay with this, Em? When I cheekily replied what she don't know won't hurt her she roared with laughter and waved me shoo for the day. XD
