Good afternoon! Firstly, Em's final, final plodding total from yesterday actually stands @ 3106 (ha, I'm over three grand XD); secondly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1527 steps (ha, I'm just over 1.5 grand XD ); thirdly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's "Satan's Strategy And Your Defense'; fourthly, TWFT topic's 'Showing Love And Respect' and fifthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Castaway Faith' but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ONE HOUR and THIRTY-FOUR MINUTES online after I get back from our GG social tonight! Anyways, just briefly, last night's events first?
- When dad got home from his hard day's work, he IMMEDIATELY sent me to the loo and wait for Rebecca's arrival @ 5:30pm, even though I still wanted to read for three more minutes to reach one hour! I just noted that down and did as bid.
- Rebecca arrived promptly, everything went smoothly and we arrived promptly. The biggest trouble was finding a decent park!
- Only eight attended tonight, but we had a great time~ I ordered my blackboard special pie with chips coz I wasn't as healthy as Steph who ordered hers with pumpkin mash; happiness was getting to shake a liberal dose of salt over the plain chips when they arrived!
- I went back to order ice cream and tried salted caramel flavour for the first time - OMG: delicious!! The guy who gave me ice cream was a champion tooo; I gave him my five dollar bill and asked please gimme the biggest scoop of ice cream you can manage for five bucks but he really gave me not one, not two but THREE little scoops! :D
- Rebecca persuaded everyone to head outside and play pool! I sat this one out but obligingly cheered for the red team as ordered to by Rebecca. XD
- Aww, aren't Bruce and Neil sweet? The two gentlemen walked us back to where Rebecca had parked her car! I think they were surprised when they saw me getb outta Sparkless3 and walk several steps before mounting the block and climbing into her car; don't think they've seen me walk before!
- Got home nice and early - 9:28pm. Repeat the usual nightly routine @ 9:45pm I went and hit the sack./
- Today: yeah, 4th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:05am and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Amazingly, I managed to fall back asleep again before dearest dad came to kiss me bye and leave for his hard day's work @ 7:45am!
