Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4189 steps (sweet, I'm over four grand; that doesn't happen too often! XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'I Can Be Content In Every Circumstance'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Sparrows' and fourthly, Our Daily Breas's devotional topic's 'Dark Moments, Deep Prayers' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed TWENTY-NINE MINUTES online when I get back from our weekly family dinner out tonight!! Anyways, events for today?
- Wow, has it really been eight whole days since I enjoyed an awesome night's sleep? Since PIG mum demands I get offline @ 9:45pm and prepare to hit the sack, I'd already fallen asleep and woken with a full bladder @ 11:50am but since I'd used the pot :P and was back under the covers before midnight, I'm count that an awesome sleep coz I somehow slept right through PIG mum's noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs and snored happily until she went a-THUMPING upstairs and got changed for her half day's work!
- After one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- At 7:30pm PIG mum lets herself into my room and hits me with the eye goo before rushing off to her half day's work. After dearest dad has retucked me back into bed, promised to stay quiet so that Uber and I can happily snore and said he'd leave me some leftovers for lunch, before returning to sleep I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- Incredibly, I then have a MASSIVE snore and don't wake again for the pot :P until 9:45am!
- Dad let Nisha inside when she arrived, Nisha knocked, opened the door, stuck her head inside and called cheerily, "Hi Em, fifteen more minutes?" Uber nodded @ her and she wisely removed herself before incurring the wrath of the Bear Bum. XD
- After I'd counted down my fifteen more minutes, I announced to Nisha that I was hungry and swung myself over to the pot :P for two/three more tinkles. After I'd transferred myself back into bed, we got me kitted and I went over to the bathroom and brushed teeth, Ela enjoying her last break from having to hold the toothbrush this week.
- Teeth brushed, I drink one mug of water and then sit over the loo proper. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against
the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the
saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my
day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NO
- After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table for breakfast. Thanks to dad who's cooked ham and eggs and thanks to Nisha who cooks the bread crunchy with butter and adds one slice of cheese for me. I drink my first big mug of white tea and two sugars, happily reading for thirty minutes. This morning I reached pg. 300 @ 11:24am.
- Suddenly, dad rings home and asks me to get Nisha to please check the bookshelf near the front door to see if he's left his mobile there! Nisha finds it, brings it to the table and I Whatsapp dad to let him know. Dad rings again saying he'll come pick it up.
- Only we leave before he gets back! I scrawl him a note with a big love heart telling him his phone's on the kitchen table and tell Nisha to place it directly inside the front door so the moment dad opens it, he'll see the note. Then I get into Nisha's passenger seat, she kindly helps me with my seatbelt and she tootles me off to Calamvale Central for walkies and grocery shopping.
- Nisha grabs a trolley for us while I'm untangling my bag from the seatbelt and then we head into Woolies to buy two things. We got the bread but there weren't any facial tissues left; Nisha also got herself a chicken caesar salad for lunch.
- Our last stop before Nisha tootled me home was the sushi place, where I chose a calamari sushi for my arvo tea.
- Back home, I turned the alarm off and then took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Nisha who rinsed out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- I had one tinkle before Nisha flipped the nice hot water off, got dried, got creamed and had another tinkle. When Nisha rekitted me, I had one more tinkle when she was doing Elf's AFO straps and one last when she was giving Wally back to Ela.
- Back outside, Nisha made me another mug of white tea, reheated rice leftovers for my lunch and went to clean the bathroom before sitting down also and munching her caesar salad. She made me one last mug of white tea with two sugars (third), after I'd finished my second.
- I used the loo once more for two tinkles @ 1:50pm when dad came home. He signed Nisha off and she left five minutes early. She's back next Saturday 10am till 2pm again.
- Dad hurried me up outta the loo and walked with me up the front yard to get to where he'd parked the 4WD. After I'd climbed in, he tootled me off to church to play ping pong.
- There were like nine people playing today! Hence why we only played three rounds together and not four; thanks also to dad who took me once to the loo partway through.
- Back home, I used the loo for one tinkle and sat down @ the gobbling :P table to eat my yummy calamari sushi roll and drink mone mug of something warm. Also had half a cup of some kinda bubble tea: a new place opened @ Sunnybank Plaza that's offering buy one get one free! PIG mum ordered some kinda green tea for dad while we shared sth that was milky but didn't contain any tea that had like pearls? 'Twas yummy but PIG mum says once the promotion's over she'll not buy there again coz one cup cost like $7.50!
- Before popping online I used the loo for one more tinkle.
- Yay dad says he'll take us out for dinner tonight since I'm not free Sunday!
- Toms: just church, nothing special. Well, the special thing's that our Winter Excellence Cup's being held @ like the Rochedale State High school! Obviously I'm too disabled to play but I'm coming along coz we're having lunch together first and Dr. Esther says she'll take me providing I cheer for her team! Deal. XD
- Hopefully PIG mum will feed me dinner @ 6pm coz Origin Two coverage begins @ 7: GO THE MIGHTY MAROONS!!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl after dinner, else looking forward to seeing everyone @ church toms!
