Saturday Post 441

Good afternoon! Firstly, Em's final, final plodding total from Friday's actually 1364 (planning to type a personal blog post about my Queen Street Mall trip this year); secondly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2567 steps (ha, I'm just over 2.5 grand XD); thirdly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's "Mary's Magnificent God"; fourthly, TWFT topic's 'Having The Right Mindset (1)' and fifthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Christmas Light' but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ONE HOUR and SIXTEEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm bulletin for the 194TH time! Anyways, events for today?

  • Woo hoo, 9th consecutive awesome sleep last night! I had SO MUCH FUN out with Minjum last night @ Queen Street Mall and I was so mentally exhausted that I totally slept through noisy PIG mum's daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs this morning @ 6:20am; I didn't wake for the pot :P until she went a-THUMPING upstairs noisily and awoke me when she was getting changed for her half-day's work!  After one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • At 7:30am, PIG mum lets herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before dashing off for her half-day's work. Once she's left I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*

  •  After dearest dad has retucked me back into bed, cheekily tried to suck Pearl's six pearls, laughed when Pearl bodyslammed him for that cheek, says he'll leave me some rice leftovers for my lunch and promised to stay quiet so that we can snore in peace, Pearl and I do exactly that, me waking twice more for the pot :P before Nisha arrives @ 10am.
  • She knows the drill: knock, open the door, say good morning, fifteen more minutes and leaves when Pearl nods @ her. XD
  • Once I've counted down my fifteen more minutes, I swing myself over to the pot :P for two more tinkles and call out that I'm hungry to Nisha. She comes, we get me kitted and I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo and do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After breakfast, I head out to the gobbling :P table for breakfast. Thanks to dearest dad who cooked his once-weekly ham and eggs and thanks to Nisha who added one slice of cheese for me, because she doesn't know how to cook the bread crunchy with butter. XD I happily read for thirty minutes first up, reaching pg. 111 @ 11:04am and reaching pg. 125 @ 11:22am.
  • While Nisha closes and locks windows, I use the loo for one more tinkle and then climb into her passenger seat, buckling my own seatbelt all day. Nisha tootles us off to Calamvale Central and parks out the bag before grabbing a trolley for us.
  • After buying pears/bananas/avocadoes/whatever from The Mega Discount Fruit Market, we buy a - bbl!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
