Friday Post 308

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2364 steps; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Strength To Wait With Patience'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'When You Die! (1)' ; fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "The Forecaster's Mistake" and fifthly, the spam count for the week's thirty. Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, 7th consecutive awesome sleep last night! That's the 6th time this year I've ached one straight week of awesome sleeps; ideally it'd be the 10th time should I wanna maintain the record I've managed for the past three years straight (twenty-five instances of one straight week of awesome sleeps) but since I already achieved that last year, the year before and the year before that, I'm satisfied that I CAN achieve that and won't risk trying anymore to attain that level and risk accidents during the night. Even though I specifically prayed and asked God please NOT to send the noisy garbage truck THUNDERING down the road UNTIL the Sun had risen sufficiently for me to see the time on the clock on the wall, He was like stuff you and deliberately sent that noisy garbage truck THUNDERING down our road to tip bins BEFORE the Sun had really risen! >< Fine: if He was gonna ignore me then I'd ignore Him right back. I just fell back asleep and didn't wake again for the pot :p until the Sun was properly risen. Two can play @ that game. PIG mum's told me before that I can't win God and I'm saying I'm not trying to! I'm just saying I'm not gonna let Him win and today was the perfect example of that.
  • When nature called again around 6:30am, after the Sun had fully riden, I used the pot :P for one tinkle before I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*

  •  When Peggy arrives @ 9am, PIG mum gimmes some eye goo and said fifteen more minutes.

  • After Peggy entered my room, I use the pot :P for a few more tinkles, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom to brush teeth. Ela enjoys her third successive break from having to hold the toothbrush. Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for five minutes, coming out when I realise I feel like doing a stinky unspeakable.

  • Breakfast is three Weet-Bix with a stream of honey and milk, one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast with avocado smeared over and some salt sprinkled over it, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*

  • After breakfast, I sit once more over the loo. . There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!

  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into Peggy's front seat, she kindly helps me with my seatbelt and tootles me off to UQ for my two-hour session! We make good time; after arriving I get to play mobile games for twenty minutes!

  • We catch the lift upstairs, I use the loo once and then enter the NAB. After taking a seat Cat wanders over to say hi but then says she's not seeing me till next week. Denis tells me to go sit @ the corner plinth.

  • A group of five/six GEMs introduce themselves. They're all different nationalities but all studied uni in Canada. I gave them a brief history, they asked several questions and then went out to discuss a treatment plan. While they were away, I got to know the gentleman sitting across the room from me; Stuart's seventy/seventy-five and fell off his pushbike, breaking his neck! >< Incredibly, he can still walk some using a walker~

  • When they got back, they'd devised a session for Ela. I stood with her bracing against the wall, then did some supination and pronation exercises, then pretending pegs were piano keys. Mostly I was just disappointed they didn't feed me any chocolate before I left! XD

  • Peggy tootled me home, I turned off the alarm and then took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.

  • After getting dried, creamed and rekitted I use the loo for one more tinkle before heading outside for lunch. Apart from making me a really yummy tuna in tomato and onion buttered toastie with one slice of cheese, Peggy even made me one mug of white tea with two sugars, score!

  • Before she left @ 2pm I used the loo once more for two tinkles before signing her off with my thanks and byes. I'll not see her for the next three weeks coz she's taking annual leave to renovate her house!

  • Once I've used up my most important two hours of the day I'll head over to the gobbling :P table, ask PIG mum for some arvo tea and then hopefully read for one hour.

  • Looking forward to watching the 6pm bulletin for the (Nine's) 65TH time!

  • Then will use the loo once, scoff down dinner, hopefully skip soup and be seated with Goem by 7:30pm to watch the Broncos play!

  • Toms: Nisha's minding me from 10am till 2pm. Looking forward to my three big mugs of white tea and the chance to read the Silver Brumby novel for three hours!

  • Must remember to ask dad is there any ping pong toms arvo.

  • Anyways, hopefully bbl else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
