Good afternoon! Firstly, my final, final plodding total from last night's actually 3227); secondly, Joni's devotional topic from last night's "Those 'Other' Promises"; thirdly, John Piper's daily devotional from last night's 'Authentic Vs. Phony Faith'; fourthly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3585 steps (ha, I'm just over 3.5 grand XD) and fifthly, TWFT topic's 'When You Die! (2)' but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed THIRTY MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 66TH time!! Anyways, let's start off with last night's events first!
- At 6:38pm PIG mum tried summoning me to dinner, but I said nah if you won't wait eat first; I'll come after the 6pm bulletin has finished.
- Come 7pm, I used the loo for one tinkle, quickly wolfed down dinner (dad had demanded I only put one spoonful into my mouth before chewing and swallowing before repeating; I crammed the BIGGEST mouthful I could spoon into my mouth, so big that some fell back into the bowl and dad grumbled his head off about that but he couldn't get up me since I was sitting very straight and leaning forward; all the food that couldn't enter my mouth simply fell back into the bowl, ready for another go XD) and drank half a bowl of soup before crashing onto the couch and cuddled Goem, ready to watch the game! Dad got back @ me by denying me permission to raise the footrest until kickoff (last time 'twas only when coverage started) but hey. No biggie.
- Cripes, @ halftime the Broncos were losing 24-4 but by fulltime they'd equalised and gone onto win the game! Meaning I stayed up and watched Friday Night Knockoff before getting myself to bed. Zzz~
- Today: woo hoo, 8th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:30am and after one pot :P trip I immediately fell back asleep coz I knew PIG mum would get noisy less than one hour later!
- Sure enough, @ 6:20am I was awakened for another pot :P trip by PIG mum's expected a-THUMPING upstairs to get changed for her half day's work, after which I spend ten
minutes beginning a mostly
silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the
patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today
with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering
for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It
doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not
through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess
whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. ><
*sigh*
