Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 6087 steps (ha, I'm more than half a normal person today XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'A Dangerous Motive' ; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Be Passionate About It! (1)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Our Father' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY MINUTES online after I watch the footy tonight!! Anyways, just briefly, events for today?
- Yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:10am~
- Karina helped me up, I brushed teeth, had the usual breakfast (thanks to Karina who turned on Sunrise for my viewing pleasure), did a stinky unspeakable and climbed into Karina's car. She tootled me off to Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown for my fortnightly shopping trip!
- Unfortunately, all the close disabled parks were occupied; Karina found one as close as she could and then I walked like the ENTIRE LENGTH of the shopping centre to use the loo for one tinkle and reach the library! Thankfully, there was a trolley return way just beside where Karina parked; she just grabbed one for us.
- Yay, King Of Ashes was still available! I grabbed that, crashed into a comfy pink sofa and read for one hour, finishing page fifty @ 9:56am and finishing page seventy-five @ 10:31pm.
- Wow today I walked ALL AROUND the shopping centre! First to buy groceries from Woolies (we bumped into Caitlin!), then into The Reject Shop to buy PIG mum a Mother's Day card, then upstairs to KMart to buy her a Mother's Day gift, then across to KMart to buy her another gift and finally to Coles for more grocery shopping!
- Had lunch with Pastor Grace @ Woka Warrigal; I had the baked fish fillet rice with a cold HK-style milk tea coffee.
Cheers,
Em. ^^
