Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2957 steps; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Is Christ Worth It?' and thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Feeling Good About Yourself'. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 4th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:20am and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Usually nature calls hourly after the initial pot :P trip, but happiness was sleeping soundly until dearest dad very thoughtfully walked silently along the hallway and unpopped the lock into the garage before waking for another pot :P trip. Also, I was having another dream! Too bad the dream vanished the moment I woke and I couldn't recall it, but hopefully it'll come back tonight and I'll remember it toms morning!
- For some reason, Hannah didn't show up; Amy came instead? When I swung myself over to the pot :P once more, Amy smugly told me, "You should thank me. Your carer's car broke down and only I was able to come help you up." Sure, I was profuse in my thanks! XD
- After we got me kitted, I headed over to the bathroom and brushed teeth before sitting over the loo for just one tinkle, coming out when I realised I felt like doing a stinky unspeakable.
- Breakfast is one bowl of the less-yummy bird food (what Dr. Ku calls All-BGran, one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast with some avocado smeared over it and a little salt sprinkled on top, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I sit over the loo once more. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against
the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the
saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my
day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NO
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into Amy's passenger seat and she tootles me off to Calamvale Cental, finding parking underground. Dunno why she wouldn't grab a trolley for us, instead demanding I cross the road and grabbing one myself, but hey.
- First we buy groceries from Woolies.
- Then I buy fruits from The Mega Discount Fruit Market, before returning to just outside Woolies, crashing on the comfy sofa and playing phone games for nearly one hour! I would've thought Amy would've said sit @ the table and use your phone stand but she seemed cool with the comfier couch, yay~
- Before leaving, I went to the bakery and bought my crispy pork salad roll for lunch. When the uncle saw me, I waved Era and he nodded, asking me, "Where you last Friday?" Even while masked up, I pulled a face and said, "I no come coz I got COVID." He looks alarmed. "You mum dad okay?" Shaking my head, I reply, "They got COVID too..." He's unmasked and looked even more alarmed, hence why I waved Era @ him and said, "Don't worry. All better now, so come to buy pork salad roll!" While it's being made, he serves another customer; after the customer's left, I ask him, "Uncle, where's Aunty today? I no see Aunty." The Vietnamese uncle points to the aunty manning the counter, but I shake my head, going, "No, different Aunty." He goes, "Oh! She work Friday. Today Wednesday." He also told me how he's got one little boy who's two/three.
- Back home, I take a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Amy who helps me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- I have one tinkle before Amy flips the nice hot water off, get dried, have another tinkle and get creamed. When Amy rekits me, I have one more tinkle when she's helping with Erf's sock and one last when she's giving Wally back to Ela.
- Back outside, lunch is the delicious crackling pork salad roll plus one mug of some infusion; a yummier one; the tag's orange.
- At 2pm I sign Amy off with my thanks and byes. Dunno when she's coming back again.
- Lunch finished, I use the loo for one tinkle and then pop online.
- Once I've used up the most important two hours of the day, I'll head over to the gobbling :P table, ask PIG mum please for some arvo tea and read for about one hour!
- Kim's taking me to Toastmasters @ 5:30! Looking forward to getting some dinner back from Maccas; never mind that Happy Meals were what I ate SURELY MORE THAN TWO DECADES AGO! *sigh*
- Toms: Kim's minding me 12-5 because I've got NAB physio @ 1pm? PIG mum'll help me up toms morning coz I'm seeing Ray for some acupuncture and massage @ 10am. Bet she's simply DYING to yap ceaselessly @ him. XD
- Online choir rehearsal from like 5:30pm till 6:45pm?
- Anyways, hope everyone has a smashing day toms!
