Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4687 steps (sweet, I'm even over 4.5 grand!); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'What It Means To Love God'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Aim For The Mark' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Engraved Grief'. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 2nd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until PIG mum woke me with her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs; once I'd got back into bed she let herself into my room, hit me with the eye goo and helped me exceedingly slightly with not only the bra strap but the tee (since dearest dad was home) before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum returns to help with absolutely nothing but Elf's AFO and both laces, after which I climb straight into the backseat of PIG mum's 4WD, since we're going to pickup dad's 4WD from the repair shop! Dad did ask mum should he gimme a mouthful of milk but I'm like nah don't bother I'm still wearing my mouth splint and besides once we get home I'm going back to bed anyway.
- The parents collect dad's 4WD from Wynnum, I think ... dad drives back home while PIG mum and I follow in her smaller 4WD. Back home, I visit the loo once more, bid both parents good night and climb back into bed for more zzzs~
- When Amy arrives, she gives me fifteen more minutes. After I use the pot :P we get me kitted and I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Ela enjoys her second consecutive morning's break from having to hold the toothbrush.
- Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for only one tinkle, coming out when I realise I feel like doing a stinky unspeakable.
- Breakfast is two Weet-Bix with a thin drizzle of honey, one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread with some avocado and sprinkled with a little salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I sit over the loo once more. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against
the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the
saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my
day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NO
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into Amy's front passenger seat and she tootles me off to Calamvale Central. Thanks to her who helps with my seatbelt both ways; also thanks that once we arrived she lemme push a trolley with her.After buying groceries from Woolies I got more than one hour to play phone games! But I only passed one more level of Candy Crush. XD
- Back home, I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Amy who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- I had one ttinkle before Amy flipped the nice hot water off, got dried, got creamed and had another tinkle. When Amy rekitted me, I had one more tinkle when she was helping with Elf's AFO straps and one last when I was drying inside the ears with a tissue.
- Back outside, thanks to PIG mum who microwaved me one bowl of rice leftovers for lunch; I'll not get any rice for dinner tonight, see. 'Twas tasteless but I couldn't ask Amy for some soya sauce since PIG mum was sitting on the sofa watching YouTube clips! XD
- Lunch finished, I booted the computer up and Amy cleaned my lunch dishes, before sitting and giving Ela a very gentle massage for about ten minutes.
- Precisely @ 2pm she shoved her mobile under my nose, indicating I sign her off. I did with my thanks and byes. Dunno when she'll come back coz she's got her accounting degree now and she's looking for fulltime accounting work.
- Ten minutes later, I use the loo for one tinkle and PIG mum tootles me off to Breathe to see Jacky.
- Physio today: 1.428km bike riding, three sets of lat rows, Era reaching with big foam stick, dumbbell work for both hands.
- Back home, PIG mum fed me the yummy calamari sushi roll I'd bought with Amy earlier today and one yummy mug of peppermint tea.
- Before plopping online, I used the loo for one tinkle.
- Kim's meant to come take me to Toastmasters @ 5:30pm but earlier Leanne rang and said she can't come till 5:45; PIG mum scoffs that since Leanne's that unreliable Kim will prolly not arrive until 6pm! o_O Will haveta open the door for her myself since PIG mum's gonna play ping pong with Ping Yee @ her place. Looking forward to bringing home some dinner tonight from Maccas; never mind that Happy Meals were what I ate @ LEAST TWO DECADES ago!! *sigh*
- Toms: seeing Ray for some massage and acupuncture. Bet PIG mum's simply DYING to yap @ him.
- Hoping PIG mum'll take me to the QE2 hospital to visit Uncle Slam's mum! Poor thing's in palliative care with some sorta cancer ...
- Oh, haveta edit and send off GCCW homework for toms; I've written TWO! XD
- Kim's minding me 4-6pm toms but I'm unsure whether there's any choir rehearsal, considering their whole family has caught COVID! O_o
- Anyways, prolly won't bbl tonight, so hope everyone has a smashing Wednesday ahead!
