Monday Post 307

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1295 steps; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Jesus Knows His Sheep'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Dress For Success' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'In The End'. Righteo, events for today?

  • Yay, 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:30am and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Usually nature calls hourly after that initial pot :P trip but happiness was snoring happily until dearest dad very considerately walks silently along the hallway and unpops the lock leading into the garage before waking for another pot :P trip.
  • After dearest dad has kissed me bye, retucked me back into bed and left for his hard day's work, Uber and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P shortly before PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside to await Hannah's arrival.
  • But today Hannah arrives with Anette! Not the one I know, but a new one - and today's her first day on the job! She's only fifty-five but already has grandkids!
  • I get up, brush teeth, sit over the loo for one tinkle and then come out for breakfast.
  • For breakfast I munch three yummy Weet-Bix with a very thin stream of honey, one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread with a little avocado and sprinkled with a little salt), all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely to the toilet,  rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • Annette drives a normal-sized hair; Hannah said let's use yours. The Block feels unloved. XD I sit @ the back and tell Hannah to sit beside Anette.
  • At UQ, I use the loo for one tinkle and enter the NAB.
  • Mr. Jig-Air greets me from the plinth @ the end wall and beckons me over. I hike in and he asks me how am I? I tell him better thanks; luckily we only had mild cases.
  • My new student's called Cat - short for Catriona - and she doesn't turn twenty-one until September!
  • Physio today: twenty sit-to-stands with left weightshift, stepping for Erf with more left weightshift, lay down on plinth and showed Cat Ela's ROM and cone work for Ela.
  • Got home, turned alarm off and took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Hannah who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • I had one tinkle before I flipped the nice hot water off, got dried, got creamed and had another tinkle. When Hannah rekitted me, I had one more tinkle when she was helping with Elf's AFO straps and one last when she was giving Wally back to Ela.
  • Back outside, PIG mum had cooked spaghetti for lunch but 'twas yucky coz it was GAMEY! >< The warm infusion wasn't yummy either, but hey.
  • Can't remember did I visit the loo before popping online?
  • Toms: Hannah's minding me 9-2 and then Kim's taking me to Toastmasters! Looking forward to buying some dinner home from Maccas, never mind that Happy Meals were what I ate surely MORE THAN TWO DECADES AGO!! *sigh*
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else hope everyone has a smashing day toms!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
