Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3421 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'How We Must Fight For Holiness'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'What Are Your Values? (1); fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "God's Mighty Power" and fifthly, the spam count for the week's thirteen but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed NINETEEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Seven's) for the 97TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- lol, has it really been five days since my last great sleep? Nature didn't call until 6:45am and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Nature usually calls hourly after that first daylight pot :P trip, but happiness was snoring soundly until dearest dad very thoughtfully walked silently along the hallway and unpopped the lock on the front door for Peggy's impending arrival @ 9am.
- Once dearest dad let Peggy inside, she knocked, pushed the door open and said fifteen more minutes? Pearl was rather miffed that she hadn't said good morning first but since he's anatomically incapable of giving the Bear Bum, I just nodded him @ her and Peggy wisely removed herself. XD
- When Peggy came back, I used the pot :P for @ least three more tinkles, we goot me kitted and I headed over to the bathroom to brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who squirted some toothpaste for me.
- Teeth brushed, I sat over the loo for one tinkle, washed and dried Era and walked myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is some Weet-Bix porridge, one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread with avocado and lightly sprinkled with salt, one full mug of water and another mug of coffee. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I sit once more over the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into Peggy's passenger seat. She kindly helps me with my seatbelt and then tootles me off to the NAB. We arrive early enough that I get to play Jewel Quest for ten minutes before going up. XD
- I use the loo once for two tinkles before entering the NAB. Actually, the student meets us along the hallway and Peggy says bye there.
- Physio today: Eighty sit-to-stands with left and forward weightshift, stepping for Erf and ten laps hiked around front of clinic bending down to floor to pick-up flat cones for Era.
- Afterwards, I sat over the loo for two tinkles before Peggy drove me home (thanks to her who kindly helped me with my seatbelt again) and I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- I had one tinkle before Peggy flipped the nice hot water off, got dried, got creamed and had another tinkle. When Peggy rekitted me, I had one more tinkle when she was helping with Erf's sock and one last one when she was giving Wally back to Ela.
- For lunch back outside, Peggy made me a tuna toastie with TWO slices of cheese and HEAVILY buttered on one side! I kept that side facedown to prevent dad from seeing. XD
- While Peggy gave Pijum more brain and abdomen surgery, I happily continued playing Jewel Quest and used the loo once more for two tinkles before signing her off with my thanks and byes. She's back again same time next Friday.
- Shortly after Peggy left, Tiff arrived to give Ela one hour of unfunctunional hand exercises. Go me: I'm usually useless @ noticing physical changes in people but today I noticed that Tiff now wears glasses! She told me, yes, she's got astigmatism.
- Next Friday, we're cooking creamy chicken udon together! My Chopping Board Of Death looks forward to seeing some action. XD
- Tiff walked behind me to the gobbling :P table before leaving. I settled down to read the first book I'd selected from the Lifeline Bookfest for one hour, reaching page seventy-five @ 3:29. Dad fed me that adorable little swelling (say 'joong' in Canto) that Aggie's mum made plus one mug of yummy peppermint tea for arvo tea.
- That finished, I used the loo for one tinkle before walking myself slowly and safely online, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Toms: Nisha's minding me from 10-2; suppose dad'll send us for walkies @ Calamvale Central to buy a box of cheap facial tissues and my arvo tea sushi roll.
- Pretty sure we'll play table tennis @ church from 2-4.
- Hopefully Yu Lam will take me somewhere to try that HK-style milk tea with PEARL!
- And didn't dad say we'd have dinner out together tonight since we'll not Sunday night coz PIG mum needs sleep?
- Anyways, hopefully bbl after dinner, else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
