Friday Post 471

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2276 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Faith That Magnifies Grace'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Your Position And Your Condition'; fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Uniting Nations'; fifthly, the spam count for the weekend's actually sixteen and sevently, the spam count for the week's thirty-one. Anyways, events for today?

  • Nature called once around 2:45am; nature called again around 6:30am and after another pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • At 9:30am, I use the pott :P for another tinkle, give myself fifteen more minutes and then call dad to please help me up, coz I don't wanna be back in bed before twelve hours have passed but dad says no, wait for Peggy! When I refuse, saying I don't wanna be back in bed before twelve hours have passed, he's like then stay up till 10pm then. Deal; he'd better not try to boott me off to bed before 10pm!
  • When Peggy arrives, I immediately ask her to please help me up. Once kitted, I head  over tto the bathroom and brush teeth; thanks to Peggy who squirted me some toothpaste.
  • Teeth brushed, I used the loo for one tinkle, washed both hands and headed outside to the gobbling :P table.
  • Breakfast was the yummy vanilla custard bun I'd bought with Karina yesterday, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After dinner, I sit once more over the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I get into Peggy's passenger seat and she tootles me off to Calamvale Central for walkies, parking underground and grabbing a trolley for us. Thanks to Peggy who helped me buckle my seatbelt both ways.
  • Our first stop was the Mega Discount Fruit Market before we bought groceries from Woolies. This morning, Peggy told me that all the free donuts had already been snapped up, but I wibbled @ dad and said I could buy one lil packet of donuts from Woolies!
  • Groceries bought, I sat outside Woolies, munched my two mini donuts (the pack contained eight but dad said I was only allowed two) and played Jewel Quest while Peggy went and bought more groceries.
  • Once Peggy tootled me home, I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was one yummy tuna in tomato and onion with TWO slices of cheese, HEAVILY buttered on one side and one big mug of white tea sweetened with one big spoonful of golden syrup!
  • Dad came home and readied my Chopping Board Of Death for usage this arvo before sending me to the loo so he could immediately sign Peggy off and shoo her away. She's back same time next Friday.
  • Tiff came and we made chicken sandwiches! I boiled and cut the chicken, got and toasted the bread, fried the egg and put the sandwich together!
  • When dad came home, he lemme have half for arvo tea, saying I could eat tthe other half for supper after I used the loo once more @ 9pm.
  • After using the loo for one more tinkle, I pop online.
  • Wonder if I'll get to watch the 6pm news (Seven's) for the 88TH time?
  • Toms: it's national egg day! I've already reminded dad please to cook our usual once-weekly eggy breakfast. XD
  • Nisha's minding me from 10am till 2pm. Presume we'll go for walkies and grocery shopping @ Calamvale Central to buy one box of tissues and my once-weekly sushi roll for arvo tea.
  • Will shower after getting home with Nisha since I don't get 4-6pm support anymore, but will presumably play table tennis with dearest dad @ church toms arvo.
  • Oh, while Nisha's here, I plan to read the newspaper I bought on Thursday! Have already read all the Origin news and basked in the Maroons' glory but don't wanna waste the rest of the paper so planning to read it toms when Nisha's here.
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl after dinner else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
