Good afternoon! Firstly, my final, final plodding total for Wednesday's actually 6600 (my second-best for the year thus far, woot!); secondly, I'm unsure how many steps I've been hard @ work plodding since Wally won't turn on; thirdly, john Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'The Gain Of Serving God'; fourthly, TWFT topic's 'What Can I Do?' and fifthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "In God's Hands" but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really owed TWENTY-EIGHT MINUTES online should I get to watch the 6pm bulletin for the 88TH time!! Righteo, let's start off with last night's events first!
- PIG mum microwaved me rice leftovers for dinner @ 6pm; @ 6:45pm I used the loo for one tinkle and then dad tootled me off to Peter Pie's place for the Origin opener! Unsurprisingly, IU was the first there but that meant I picked the choice sofa spot with the extended leg rest. XD
- About thirteen people came last night; thanks to Yu Lam who walked behind me once to the loo before I returned to the sofa and stood for the national anthem. I instructed everyone to stand also, but Dr. Lee was like, nah, you stand for us. Kalos was sitting beside me, I whacked him gently on the shoulder and commanded him, "Stand for the national anthem!" Aww, what a good boy: Kalos stood immediately. XD
- Come halftime, QLD led! Yu Lam helped me once to the loo again and I returned to the couch for the second half.
- QUEENSLAND WON!! Even though we were down a man we still scored and continuously defended our tryline desperately.
- I rang for pickup, dad tootled me home, I used the loo for one more tinkle, noted down my final, final ploodding and then repeat the usually nightly events. Zzz~
- Today: yay, 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:20pm and after one pot :P trip I fell right back asleep immediately since I knew PIG mum would get very noisy one hour later!
- Like clockwork, PIG mum's noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs wakes me for another pot :P trip @ 7:20am, after which I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- After PIG mum hits me with the eye goo, Karina arrives @ 7:30am and gives me fifteen more minutes before helping me up.
- I brush teeth, eat breakfast, do a stinky unspeakable and then head out to Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown for my fortnightly shopping trip.
- We buy groceries from Woolies and Coles before Karina decides I may read in the library for thirteen minutes. Entering the library, I see and grab some Phillipa Gregory historical fiction novel to read. I encountered the title on page twelve and read seventeen pages before Karina says lunchtime.
Cheers,
Em. ^^
