Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1001 steps (ha, I'm literally one step over one grand! XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'How To Plead For Unbelievers'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'How To Develop Patience (1)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Live In Freedom'. Anyways, events for today?
- Aw, silly dad ruined my achieving the 8th time this year when I've enjoyed one consecutive week of awesome sleeps went he went THUMP!; upstairs @ 6:05am only sunrise wasn't until 6:37am!
- After using the pot :P once, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P shortly before dearest dad lets himself into my room @ 8:40am and reminds me to warm-up Elf for five minutes before getting fifteen more minutes.
- When Rebecca arrived I was gonna get up immediately but dad said five for minutes since I need to tell Rebecca what you're doing today. When Rebecca came back 4:30 later, Pearl indignantly screeched @ her thirty more seconds! Rebecca just laughed and complied. XD
- When she came back again, I used the pot :P for two more tinkles while she went around finding clothes for me. After we got me kitted, I headed over to the bathroom and brushed teeth, sat over the looo for one tinkle and then headed out to the gobbling :P table.
- Breakfast is some Weet-Bix porridge, one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast lightly spread with avocado and hopefully sprinkled with salt, one full mug of water, all my usual drugs :P and half a mug of warm Milo. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*Oh, even better, Rebecca makes me one small mug of white tea with two sugars!
- After breakfast, I sit once moore over the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Rebecca's car, she kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt and then she toottles me off to the Convention Centre for the Lifeline Bookfest!
- On arrival I transfer down (like Hannah, she uses the block) into Sparkless3 and nearly slip off the block! Luckily Era's grasping the car door hard and I don't stack it.
- We catch the lift up and head towards one of the open rooms. To the usher guy @ the door I ask him where are the $2.50 books and the guy replies oh, you're in the wrong room! This is the high quality section; head one room over for the $2.50 section.
- Once in the right section, someone hands us each a directory and I ask Rebecca please to find me the fantasy and sci fi section. I choose a David Eddings book then ask Rebecca to please find me the Hardcover fiction., can't, and we ask some volunteer where it is; he goes to find it for us but while he's gone Rebecca suddenly spots it! Once I'm there I ask Rebecca can she please find that guy and let him know we've found it but the bloke suddenly appears behind us and says cool you found it yourself!
- Rebecca leaves me to trawl through the shelves while she wanders over to the high quality books; when she comes back I've shortlisted a whole stack! We wheel me over to some empty table and Rebecca lays them all out for me and then takes a photo of them for me before saying you've still got some time; wanna keep browsing? Sure! I actually found a great one and traded that for one from the eight I'd already chosen! Sorry Wilbur Smith. XD
- Back home, I take a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to REBECCA wHO HeLPeD ME RINsE out MY HAIr< THUS FREEING Era to hold my stupid right eye tigHTLY SHUT.
- Um yeah my keyboard has gone haywire and I'm randomly putting out capital letters. XD
- I had one tinkle before Rebecca flipped the nice hot water off, got dried, got dried and had another tinkle. When Rebecca rekitted me, I had one more tinkle when she was helping with Erf's sock and one last when she was giving Wally back to Ela.
- For lunch Rebecca reheated the rice dad had left me and made me another little mug of white tea with two sugars. Over lunch, we introduced our books to each other!
- I sat over the loo once more for two tinkles @ 1:55pm. Dad got home, immediately signed her off and shooed her away.
- Fingers crossed I can watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 95TH time!
- Toms: Lena's minding me 8-2. She'll take me to Breathe for physio then Pinelands Plaza for grocery shopping @ Coles and bahn mi buying for my lunch @ the Pinelands Bakehouse.
- Don't have any more plans for Tuesday. Looking forward tto spending my most important two hours of the day online, reading for one hour and watching the 6pm news bulletin for the 96TH time!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl else wishing everyone a smashing Tuesday toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
