Saturday Post 472

Good evening! Firstly, my final, final plodding total from Friday's actually today I've been hard @ work plodding 4784; secondly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3412 steps; thirdly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Serve God With Your Thirst'; fourthly, TWFT topic's "How Love's Expressed" and fifthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'The Power Of Voice' but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ONE HOUR and TWENTY-ONE  MINUTES online after dad and I eat dinner together after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Seven's)  for the 94TH time!! Anyways, let's start off with last night's events first!

  • I was getting ready to watch the 6pm news bulletin when suddenly I realised Affie's and Kalos's thing happened @ 7pm, not 7:30pm! Hence I called out and asked dearest dad to please  microwave me some rice  leftovers for dinner immediately~
  • Dinner wolfed down, I used the  loo  for one tinkle and then sat in the chair by the front door waiting for dad to get ready to leave.
  • After climbing into the backseat of dad's 4WD, I buckled my seatbelt and he tootled me off to church.
  • At church, I grabbed a seat and waited for everyone else to arrive.
  • About thirty people came last night? We sang songs, Aggie and Kalos talked about their upcoming mission trip (they're not leaving  until like November) and then we all went downstairs and rotated around the classrooms during Japanese activities!
  • At  night's end, David walked up behind me back to the main hall for the conclusion. Dr. Lee dropped me off back home but he was funny, missing the turn into Gaskel;l St.! I waited ten seconds before asking um, sorry, where are you driving to? Whoops! He screeches, and immediately chucka a U-turn. XD
  • Back home, repeat the usual nightly events and zzz.
  • Today: yay, 5th consecutive awesome sleep last night and my best for 2023! Nature didn't call until 8:30am and after one poot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Ten minutes later, dad comes in to gimme some eye goo and says he'll leave me some rice leftovers for lunch and promises to stay quiet so Pearl and I can cuddle and snore in peace. Pearl's just sulking coz silly dad pretended to suck his SEVEN pearls today. XD
  • Once dad exits  my bedroom, before returning to happy snorings with Pearl, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
