Saturday Post 290b

Heylo again, good evening and potentially one final greeting for tonight! Em's potential final, final plodding total for Saturday now stands @ 1190. Ha, I'm over 1000. XD Righteo, potential final, final events for tonight?

• Besta actually arrived a few minutes late today, and even had the audacity to ask me, "Get up now?" instant Bear Bum for her! She laughed, corrected "I mean, fifteen more minutes," and withdrew. XD
• Just over fifteen minutes later, Besta came back and helped me get kitted for today, saying she'd help me get changed just before Joey came to pick me up. That done, we headed over to the bathroom and I brushed teeth; Ela enjoyed her other break this week.
• After using the loo for one more tinkle, I headed out to the gobbling :P table for breakfast. Strange, wonder why dad only cooked scrambled eggs for breakfast; were we outta ham? Still, thanks to Besta who cooked the bread yummy, added cheese and made me one mug of white tea with two sugars.
• I happily read Clinton's memoirs for like one hour, Besta even made me another mug of white tea with two sugars~ Not only that, she got me a belated birthday present! This really wrapped encased in a soft cardbox handbag with a caramel and sth muffin! She lemme have it rightaway for morning tea, too~
• Before Joey came to pick me up, I used the loo for two/three more tinkles and Besta helped me changed into smarter casual clothes, more appropriate for the event I was attending! 
• Alas, after Besta had turned the alarm on, she closed the door then forgot, reopened the door and went back inside! I shot up, told Joey "Stay behind me, please!' then staggered quickly to the alarm and turned the warning tone off, probably like five seconds before the alarm EXPLODED throughout our neighbourhood. XD Just pity, because usually Saturday's the ONLY day during the week when I don't haveta turn the alarm on... *sigh*
• Joey tootled me off to Ray's and Mel's new place for their engagement party! She parked several streets away and then walked behind me to their house. Thanks to Jase who came with and carried my picnic chair for me.
• I sat down just inside the garage @ the table set up, on the most left. When Mel approached, I immediately passed her the card I'd written for her and Leo, adding my congratulations! In return, she went and poured me a cup of cordial. Leo came over and passed me two slices of pizza.
• Over the party, I moved positions once, when more people arrived and Mel relocated me to the other side of the table. Today I chatted mostly with Nat and Alex.
• When Joey decided she wanted to leave, I headed back out. Only when I reached the end of the ground cover, 'twas raining! "Uh..." I started, unsure how I was gonna tell Joey I didn't really feel safe with her walking behind me through the rain. Luckily, Joey was of the same mind, coz she asked Mel to stay with me while she went to get the car. Mel offered me a seat, but I declined, coz 'twas just a high stool without a backrest; instead, I braced my right hip against the locked side fence and waited.
• When Joey returned, I climbed into her car and she tootled me home, telling me she's going to play baddy this arvo! Not only that, she's attending the banquet dinner celebrating ten years @ BCAC toms, the lucky thing!
• Dad arrived home shortly after we did. I said my thanks and byes to Joey, used the loo for one tinkle then walked myself slowly and safely online, rising above His near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.  
• When mother arrived home fairly late ('twas already like 3:50pm), I politely asked her would she please wait ten more minutes and let Kim inside before heading upstairs - bbl!
