Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've b3en hard @ work plodding 2768 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's "Don't Be Like The Mule"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Your Limited Window Of Opportunity' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Ready To Go For God'. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:35am, and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to
Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience,
perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving
PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her
whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't
sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her
words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that
happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Afterwards, Pijum, Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore; I don't wake again for the pot :P until just after 9am, when noisy PIG mum's daily a-THUMPING around wakes me!
Soon, she's let herself intoo my rooom to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with not only the bra strap but the tee (since dearest dad's @ home) before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
PIG mum returns to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful
God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
Breakfast is one bowl of Minus :P and Just Wrong :P with all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing
my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me
get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind
the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day
whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him,
despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good
attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live
and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life
that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him,
but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to
live?? *sigh* When Lena announces her arrival @ 10am, PIG mum lets her in, gives her the shopping list and money then dashes off for her pilates class.
After breakfast, I sit once more over the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning
fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy
the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make
my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING
to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite
Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of RIX. Lena kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt and then tootles us off to Rochedale Park for a walk around the pond!
Today we bumped into two/three leashed dogs and also took a thirty minue liedown on those curved benches and saw that water dragon fellow from last week!
Our other stop before returning home was Pinelands Coles for groceries. Unfortunately all the disabled spots were gone and Lena couldn't find a park until near halfway down Pinelands Plaza, but hey. She got a trolley for us~
First we bought groceries from Woolies (dad needs lighter coloured Gatorade) and then walked down to the Pinelands Bakehouse to get my once-weekly crackling pork bahn mi. Aunty Nancy has returned from Hanoi and served me~
Back home, I took a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Lena who helped me rinde my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was my dlicious crackling pork bahn mi plus one big mug of delicious Chinese tea. Lena had just bought herself a four pack of frozen meat pies from Coles and ate one.
Before Lena left I quickly sat over the loo for one more tinkle. She's back @ 2pm toms and taking me to play table tennis!
Me: once I've used up the most important two hours of my day I'll use the loo for one tinkle and then head down to the gobbling :P table to read for one hour. Hopefully PIG mum remembers to feed me lotsa arvo tea since I'm already hungry!
Looking forward to watching the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 85TH time!
Toms: PIG mum's got Grace coming to give Ela one hour of unfunctional hand exercises toms morning.
Hopefully she'll take me grocery shopping and aisle walking afterwards because Lena's coming back toms @ 2pm to take me to play table tennis so perhaps expect a super-pissy plodding total from me?
Will remember to shower half fast/most fast coz I wanna watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 86TH time!
GG resumes in the main hall @ church! Hopefully someone'll gimme a lift back home afterwards~
Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing Wednesday ahead!
