Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2843 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'God Strengthens Us Through Others'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Praying Without Saying A Word'; fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "God's Presence" and fifthly, the spam count for the week's fifteen but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed TWENTY MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news (Seven's) for the 79TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:20am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh* Actually, horrid PIG mum nearly ruined it, since @ 1:30am she went a-THUMPING around and woke me with a full bladder! >< Luckily, I quickly fell back asleep~
- Around 9am, I'm woken for another pot :P trip when noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself intoo my room to hit me with the eye goo (sure enough, she didn't care she'd nearly denied me an awesome night's sleep, huh ><) before waiting for Peggy's arrival @ 9:30am.
- After Peggy was let in, she knocked, opened the door and called good morning. When Pijum flapped an ear @ her, she next announces fifteen more minutes. Another earflap from Pijum and she wisely removes herself. But she returns thirty seconds too early! A third earflap from Pijum and I crankily growl thirty more seconds. Naughty Peggy starts peeling away the covers but I count down the last thirty seconds before swinging myself over to the pot :P for one more tinkle, telling Peggy she's lucky Winter's not arrived yet coz if she'd tried pulling my Winter doona off me, I'd have gone full morgenmuffel on her! Peggy just roars with laughter. XD
- We get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who squirts me some toothpaste.
- Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk headed out to the gobbling :P table Peggy, who tells me she had avocado on toast with salt and pepper for breakfast this morning.
- For my breakfast, Peggy feed me one bowl of three dry (no honey) Weet-Bix with a light scattering of Minus :P, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing
my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me
get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind
the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day
whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him,
despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good
attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live
and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life
that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him,
but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to
live?? *sigh*
Cheers,
Em. ^^
