Saturday Post 197

Good afternoon! Firstly, my final, final plodding total for Friday’s actually 5557 (ha, I was more than half a normal person yesterday XD); secondly, today I’ve only been hard @ work plodding 415 steps (coz obviously, I’ve not left the house today) and thirdly, TWFT topic’s “You’re Called To A ‘Special Work’”. Anyways, let’s start off with last night’s events first!
-        I returned online when Aunty Lucia left for about twenty minutes, used the loo once more for two tinkles @ 5:20 then sat in the garage waiting for Anna’s arrival!
-        When she arrived, we hugged then I climbed into her car. For some strange reason, PIG mum randomly reached in and helped me with my seatbelt! I’m guessing she was trying to show Anna how wonderful she is coz normally, there’s not a chance she’ll help me with it! XD
-        Anna tootled us off to the Eight Mile Plains busway station. Frustration was not being able to find a parking spot! In the end, Anna took a circle drive right around Logan rd. and back; phew, we found a spot second time round~
-        At 2:54pm I played one game of Bejeweled lasting 6:29. Now, lemme play one more lasting in between five and six minutes, and I’m content to call it quits for Saturday. XD
-        Now @ 3:05pm I’ve played a second game lasting 5:10. That’s today’s quotas satisfied, and now I’ll willingly hit the sack tonight. XD
-        Getting outta the car, I met Larissa’s dad, Martin! I forgot his name once and did ask for it again, then found a way to remember him: Uncle Martin, Hayley’s dad!
-        There was a long line for the bus, Anna lemme sit while Martin lined up for us; he’d told a bus controller we were waiting and she slotted me onto a bus. Thankfully not too many standing waiting minutes.
-        Once we got in, I used the loo once first then we found our seats. Anna and I then went to buy KFC; my shout, coz my ticket was free
-        But big problem: the lift wouldn’t come! >< Larissa went to find someone who got the lift moving again, then Anna ands I went and ordered our dinner. Alas they didn’t make pineapple fritters nor gravy; instead I bought some crispy chicken burger and large chips coz they didn’t make regular!
-        By the time we’d arrived back @ our seats, we’d missed almost all the first half (we arrived back @ the thirty-eight minute mark) and the Broncos were trailing by twelve! ><
-        A small spark of hope flared when the Broncos were the first to score, but that was snuffed out when the Storm scored twice in quick succession. I was hoping they’d let us score a consolation goal, but instead, they scored again two minutes from full time! >< XD
-        The biggest trouble last night was that we got lost leaving! >< I ended up hiking the length of the bloody pitch to get back to the bus stop; not only was Elf’s poor ankle wailing that she hurted with every step, but I’d somehow strained Erf’s calf, too. >< larissa’s dad was such a darling: he asked, “Would you like me to carry you?” I laughed and thanked him but declined, explaining that I was too fat and that I’d squash him if he tried that. XD
-        Back home, I used the loo once, noted down my final, final plodding total then hit the sack. Zzz~
Today: yay, 6th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn’t call until PIG mum came into my room and hit me with the eye goo before leaving for work; after she’d left and once dearest dad had retucked the teddies and I back into bed, before sleeping again I spent ten minutes a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
After that, we cuddled and snored. I must’ve been buggered from last night’s outing, coz nature didn’t call again till almost 9am! After another loo trip I spent ten more minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
-        When Besta arrived I’d actually fallen back asleep again! I immediately used the pot :P once more then added my bangings to Besta’s knocking and doorbell ringing, but dad was obviously outside and didn’t come let Besta inside for another seven/eight minutes.
-        Besta gave me fifteen more minutes, then I used the pot :P once more for one tinkle and she got me kitted.
-        We went over and brushed teeth. Thanks to Besta who squirted me out some toothpaste; score, Ela got two breaks this week: her usual weekly one this morning and also last night, coz PIG mum had already hit the sack!
After brushing teeth, I used the loo once more for two tinkles, also fully leaning against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!

-        Era washed and dried, I head out to the gobbling :P table for breakfast. Yay, today dad left me one whole sandwich of ham and eggs for breakfast, not just half! I presume coz one slice was the crust? No matter! Thanks to Besta who added one slice of cheese for me and cooked the bread yummy; I also enjoyed my first mug of white tea, also giving the teabag a suck. XD
-        Happiness was then getting to read LOTR for one hour and ten minutes! Well, actually started reading the moment I sat down. Oh, I reached page 675 @ midday.
-        Yup, @ midday, Besta took me once to the loo for one tinkle and made me one mug of warm Milo. I happily read for another fifteen minutes, then tried ringing Aunty Nga. Not getting any response, I left a voicemail and happily read for another thirty minutes, while Besta cooked me some fried rice for lunch.
Cheers,

Em. ^^
