to Besta who found me this Sara Douglass novel to read! I can’t remember
when I got this book but I loved reading her Axis Trilogy; bet The Game of
Troy will be awesome reading, too~ ^^
- At midday, Besta took me to the loo for one
tinkle. Back @ the gobbling :P table, I happily read for another fifteen
minutes before trying to ring the aunties in Hong Kong.
Aunty Lai wasn’t home, but I reached Aunty Nga and we chatted for like
eight minutes until she excused herself, saying she had a tummyache! O_o
She only got back from China
last night /this morning, and tonight/toms morning she, Uncle Fung and
Mickey are going to Korea!

I happily read for another thirty minutes, reaching page fifty @ 1:05. Turns out Besta was staying with me
till 2pm today, to make up for
some other time she couldn’t come! While I munched my bowl of yummy fried
rice and drank my second and final mug of white tea with two sugars, we
just chatted. She wouldn’t massage Ela anymore but told me she’d spend
Christmas @ her sister’s place.
