Heylo again and please excuse the first post; you know I still get too excited whenever I get to post online before midday. XD Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4374 steps (sweet, I'm already over 4000 steps; that doesn't happen too often!); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Why We Should Love Our Enemies'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Raising Great Kids In A Troubled World' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'A Solitary Voice but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed THIRTEEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Seven's) for the 102ND time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:10am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pijum, Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P just after 9am shortly before PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help exceedingly slightly with not only the bra but the tee (since dearest dad's @ home) before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes and using the pot :P once more first.
- PIG mum comes back to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is one bowl of the yummier (so flaky) bird food (what Dr. Ku calls All-Bran XD) with a very light scattering of Minus :P over the top, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back online, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the backseat of PIG mum's car. She's just about to tootle me off to see Ray for some massage and acupuncture when the NAB rings and says no physio since the student's sick! I ask can Nisha and I watch Kung Fu Panda 4 since I missed out last week (Nisha fell asleep and missed the shift XD); PIG mum says she'll check times when I'm seeing Ray for treatment.
- At Ray's, I use the loo for one tinkle and then lie down to get some massage and acupuncture from Ray. PIG mum's in her element yapping unceasingly @ him and so happy she repeats multiple syllables before continuing her sentence, but huge thanks to Ray who always replies and keeps a conversation going.
- After another loo trip, PIG mum tootles me home and feeds me a quick lunch of rice leftovers because she says there's enough time for Nisha to take me too see the movie, hoorah!
- Lunch washed down with one big mug of delicious Chinese tea, I pop briefly online and sit over the loo for two tinkles before Nisha arrives to take me to see the movie and score, she comes with her cousin's Mercedes-Benz again!
- Since all the underground parks are taken, Nisha instead parks outside the cinema before I hike up the ramp into Sunnybank Plazaa and then Hoyts.
- Nisha buys a small popcorn and takes me once to the loo before we grab our seats and guess what: we have the ENTIRE CINEMA to ourselves! :D
- Great movie! Wonder will I manage to write a special blog post about it? I really love the music; it's only when we're watching the credits @ the end do I find out why: the score was composed by Hans Zimmer, the guy who scored The Last Samurai!
- After one more loo trip, Nisha tootled me home and I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Nisha whoo helps me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, arvo tea was one yummy banana, about half a plain cracker and one huge mug of peppermint tea. Happiness was reading the book club novel for one hour; today I reached pg. 175 @ exactly 4:10pm. Five minutes later I signed Nisha off with my thanks and byes; she's taking me to Toastmasters toms night but apparently back with Tuesday! Will miss the Mercedes-Benz. XD
- Looking forward to watching the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 102ND time!
- Toms: Lena's minding me from 10am till 2pm so PIG mum'll help me up toms morning coz once Lena arrives she'll rush off to Pilates class. Provided the weather holds up, presuming we'll take another hike around Underwood Park before going to buy groceries from Coles Pinelands and hopefully buying my once weekly bahn mi from the Pinelands Bakehouse.
- Looking forward to my most important two hours of the day online and the chance to read the book club novel for another hour!
- I'm Warm-Up Master andTable Topics Master for toms night and the theme's 14th May. Looking forward to getting some dinner back from Maccas, never mind that UnHappy Meals were what I had like 3.5 DECADES ago!! *sigh*
- Anyways, hopefully bbl else wishing everyone a smashing day toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
