Thursday Post 449

 Good afternoon! Firstly, Em's final, final plodding total from Wednesday's actually 2852; secondly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2646 steps (ha, I'm over 2.5 grand XD); thirdly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Pleased With His Precepts'; fourthly, TWFT topic's 'The Right Attitude (2)' and fifthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Blooming Deserts'. Anyways, let's start off with yesterday's events first, just briefly!

• Nisha took me to play table tennis! Unfortunately, the lift was still down, but Nisha dropped me off @ the top and I hiked up and down the four steps because instead of birthday cake, there was birthday donut! BTW yellow icing that I thought was banana flavour was fake and disgusting but I ate it since I like the sweetness; Nisha even gave me half of hers since she thought 'twas disgusting too. XD
• Showered when I got home, watched the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 98TH time (all the things I like recording are in the previous post) and wolfed down rice leftovers for dinner after Nisha left @ 6:30pm.
• Attended GG @ Peter Pie's place; nine attended last night and we studied Psalm 85, the sad psalm.
• Got home, repeat the usual nightly events and zzz~
• Today: yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until PIG mum woke me with her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs @ 7:45am; shortly afterwards she'd let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help exceedingly slightly with not only the bra strap but the tee (since dearest dad's @ home) before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted. Whilst doing soo, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
• PIG mum comes back to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom to brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle and since Nisha arrives while I'm over the loo, she walks behind me to the gobbling :P table after I've washed and dried Era.
• Breakfast is another of PIG mum's cocktail buns, one warm mug of Milo, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. , Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
• Breakfast finished, I sit once more over the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!

•  After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Nisha's brother's MERCEDES-BENZ and get Nisha too take a photo for me; ahh, leather seats and long leg space (since I'm short I can fully stretch out XD) are such luxuries! XD

• She tootles me off to the Garbo library for GCCW! I use the loo once after arriving and then discover that today we're in meeting room two, even though the first room isn't occupied.

• Eight attended, homework for next meeting's 'obscure', Sattya went with me once to the loo for morning tea break and Mary got me two packets of bikkies and one little cup of white tea with two sugars.

• After the meeting ended seven minutes early, Nisha took me once more to the loo and then tootled me home for a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to her who rinsed out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut/

• Dried, creamed and rekitted the parents had cooked spaghetti for lunch and PIG mum made me one mug of vanilla chai: delicious!

• Before Nisha left @ 1pm I sat over the loo for  two more tinkles; she's back again and taking me to book club! Fingers crossed there's finally tea!! XD

• Best of all, it's ice cream night tonight! Like I always say, a very little's better than none @ all~

• Toms: Peggy's taking me to Breathe for physio and then presumably we'll buy groceries somewhere.

• Dorrie's coming over after Peggy sees me home, showered and fed with lunch; we're cooking japchae together!

• Looking forward to starting the new book club novel for one hour!

• Planning to watch the 6pm news for the 98TH time, wolf down dinner and be sitting on the couch come 7:30pm since the Broncos are playing the Eels toms night! Hope we win so I can laugh @ Karina but I won't mind too much if we lose since Parra's dark blue~

• Anyways, hopefully bbl before heading out for book club but if not, hopefully bbl after dinner and if not, hoping everyone has a smashing end to their week toms!
