Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2714 steps; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's "At The Bottom Of It All'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Raising Great Kids In A Troubled World (4) and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Joy And Wisdom'. Anyways, events for today?
- Nature called once around 12:L40am; I woke again around 7:35am for another pot :P trip around 7:35am before I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- just after 9am nature calls once more, shortly before noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with not only the bra strap but the tee (since dearest dad's home) before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum finishes with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is one bowl of the yummier (flaky) bird food (what Dr. Ku calls All-Bran XD) very lightly sprinked with some Minus :P, all my usual drugs :P and one tall cup of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Lena (who arrived @ 10am) walked behind me back to the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of EIX and Lena tootles us off to Underwood Park for walkies! Thanks to her who helped me buckle my seatbelt all day~
- Lena takes a photo for me @ the beginning of the trail and then we take a hike around, stopping for about thirty minutes to enjoy the sunlounges. I stretch out in one; wonder why Lena sat cross-legged?
- Stopped @ Rochedale Shopping Village since Lena needed to pee; I posted hello from there!~
- Our final stop was Pinelands Plaza; unfortunately, the disabled Parks outside were all taken and Lena couldn't find another park until the other end of Coles, but hey. Groceries bought, our other stop was to the Pinelands Bakehouse for my crackling pork bahn mi; I exchanged greetings with both Aunty Nancy and Aunty Lisa~
- Back home I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to LKena who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was my delicious crackling pork bahn mi plus one big mug of delicious vanilla chai with milk! Lena brought brie cheese with salami/cucumber on bread. Her mum's waiting for results on her CT scan.
- At 2pm, I signed Lena off with my thanks and byes. Originally she was taking me to table tennis toms but she's gotta take her mum to some doctor's appointment instead; will chase Michelle to find somebody else to take me~
- Once I finished lunch, I took the plate over to the sink, used the loo for one tinkle and popped online.
- Once my most important two hours of the day are up, I'll use the loo for another tinkle and then sit and read the book club novel for one hour.
- Nisha's taking me to Toastmasters tonight! Looking forward to getting dinner back from Maccas; never mind that Unhappy Meals were what I ate surely THREE DECADES ago!! *sigh*
- Toms: has Aunty Anna come back from holidays yet? Seems like I've not seen her for ages ...
- Hopefully Michelle finds someone to take me to table tennis toms arvo; also hope there's cake! XD
