Friday Post 439

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2288 steps; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Ruler Of All Nature'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Include Jesus In All You Do' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Love In Action' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed THIRTY-ONE MINUTES after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 152ND time!! Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:20am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Around 9am nature awakes me for another tinkle and shortly after, PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs and soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo. I ask her to please help me with my footwear because I want to hike outside to where she's dumped Pijum in the bin and bid him farewell; he was with me for only around eight months but he was such greatt company; I couldn't bear it if he went to his death without me saying goodbye to him! PIG mum says oh, he's just in the garage, I'll get him for you. After she places Pijum beside me, I cling to him tightly with all four limbs and give him a huge hug, telling him I'm so sorry he's going to his death but thanks for keeping me company for nearly nine months! I already miss him so much. ><
  • Once Peggy arrives @ 9:30am, she knocks, opens the door and bids me good morning. I wave Pearl @ her and she asks, fifteen more minutes? Another nod and she wisely leaves; phew, since Pearl's anatomically incapable of giving the Bear Bum! XD
  • When Peggy comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle and share with her the sad demise of Pijum. Peggy was close to Pijum too since she's performed surgery on Pijum many times because Pijum was made in China! XD
  • We get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom to brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who's squirted me some toothpaste. Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy, who told me she had avocado toast for breakfast.
  • For my breakfast, I slurp one bowl of plain porridge, munch one slice of avocado toast lightly sprinkled with salt, pop all my usual drugs :P and drink one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh* Oh, Peggy also decides that today's cold and makes me one big mug of white tea with two sugars, ysy!

  • After breakfast, I sit once more over the loo.  There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into Auto (pronounced Alto). Thanks to Peggy who kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt all day. Our first stop's the Logan North library to collect the new book club novel!
  • Some lady called Debra borrows out the new book for me. I ask about the rarer spelling of her name and she laughs, saying her mum picked it! When we left, I warned her if there was beeping when we left 'twas Peggy and not me; the librarian laughs while Peggy just shoves me in the back and orders I go. The most hilarious thing: I'm fine when I cross the sensor, but Peggy REALLY does set the alarm off! XD "Arrest her!" I call back @ the librarian, who just laughs again and flaps her arm @ us, signaling leave. XD
  • Originally PIG mum had said go hike around Underwood Lake but the weather wasn't looking favourable and instead, Peggy tootled us off to Springwood Mall for grocery shopping. She parked somewhere perfect: carfacing the wall that had a sign reading EATS! Peggy snapped a photoo for me; I told her sure're, we'll go this way and buy groceries then we come back that way and you buy me some eats, yeah? Peggy just roared with laughter but after she grabbed a trolley for us and we were entering Woolies she asked me afterwards, could she duck inside KMart/Big W and buy sth? @ that time we were walking past the bakery; I gesture @ the croissants and reply sure, as long as you leave me with a croissant. Peggy just roars with laughter.
  • But instead of croissants, Peggy buys a pack of twelve donuts! After we sit outside, she feed me two donuts and has three herself; before going inside she leaves me one more and after coming out we both eat one more each! Meaning four for me, four for her and four left for Mr. Thomas tonight!
  • Back home, I take a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helps me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and rekitted, Peggy makes me a toasted tuna toastie with TWO cheese, HEAVILY buttered (and the inside) for lunch plus one mug of delicious vanilla chai. She leaves the television on before leaving; the same time that Dorrie arrives!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
