Good evening and definitely one final greeting for tonight! Firstly, Em's final, final plodding total for Saturday now stands @ 2385 and secondly, Joni's devotional topic's 'Guard The Storehouse' but thirdly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed THIRTEEN MINUTES online after I videochat PIG mum and Aunty Lai!! Argh, what a crummy way to finish August >< Actually PIG mum says I may wait until 9:58pm before calling her, hoorah! :D Anyways, final, final events for tonight?
- Around 4pm I used the loo for one more tinkle and climbed into the backseat of the car. Dad tootled us off to the Eight Mile Plains busway station. Phew, we got the second-last available disabled park!
- One benefit of using a wheelchair's that we get to skip bus queues and just head straight to the front!
- At the city, dad wheeled me around (think since there was lotsa people and he didn't want me bumping into people) and picked some Chinese place for our dinner since I told him I needed rice. We shared a plate of honey chicken with veggies and some dumplings, delicious!
- After one loo trip we went somewhere along the river to watch the fireworks! Dad just sat down on the ground beside me.
- Wow, the fireworks went for like twenty-five minutes! Just disappointing there weren't many blue ones. :o( When we left, the sky seemed really hazy? Then I realised coz tonight wasn't super-windy, all the smoke from the fireworks still lingered!
- Brisbane's certainly grown much busier since I started catching buses for uni; the bus kept stopping for lights and there was like a traffic jam! Dad said the bus trip took thirty/forty minutes? When we caught the lift back down to the car after arriving @ the bus station, a Translink old man was sharing the lift with us; I asked him, busy night tonight for you? The guy nodded then said xie xie and ni hao; I was very impressed that he spoke Chinese!
- Back home, I used the loo for one tinkle and then walked myself slowly and safely back online, again and always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Toms: just church, definitely nothing special. Mostly I'm just worried that dad told PIG mum not to organise any morning support for me, meaning I'll haveta struggle into a crop top before giving myself fifteen more minutes.
- Oh, the special thing's that Spring arrives, and Winter has been vanquished for another year, hoorah!
- The other special thing's that it's FATHER'S DAY!! Hopefully dad'll take me out for dinner again toms night since I wanna give him the cool card I got for him! The present's just boring. XD
- Anyways, looking forward to seeing everyone @ church toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
