Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3329 steps; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Grace Is Pardon - And Power!'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'What More Could God Have Done For You?'; fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Use Me and fourthly, the spam count for the week's exactly thirty but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed TWENTY-TWO MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 129TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- This morning was not only my second consecutive awesome sleep but my best thus far for 2024; nature didn't call until 8:20am! After one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pijum, Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking for another pot :P trip when noisy PIG mum wakes me with her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside and awaiting Peggy's arrival @ 9:30am.
- Once, PIG mum lets Peggy in, Peggy knocks, opens the door and says good morning. When I flop one of Pijum's ears @ her she smirks and asks us, fifteen more minutes? Pijum gives another earflop and she thankfully leaves us be; phew, since Pijum's anatomically incapable of giving the Bear Bum!
- When Peggy comes back, I sit over the pot :P for @ least three more tinkles, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom to brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who squirts some toothpaste for me.
- Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then head out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy. While we're walking down the hallway, Peggy tells me that she had her usual two soft-boiled eggs for breakfast.
- For my breakfast, I have one bowl of chocolate porridge with one slice of dry (unbuttered) multigrain toast, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Peggy slathers me with sunscreen bfore walking with me back to the bathroom. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Auto (pronounced Alto) and Peggy tootles me off to Breathe for physio. Thanks to her who helped me buckle my seatbelt all day.
- Since we're early, I get to play the HP version of Bejeweled for awhile and pass two more levels!
- Physio today: 2.347km bike ride, 36 assisted pull-ups, 36 steps for Erf with left weight shift, 36 leg curls and 36 leg extensions with green TheraBand for Elf, 36 seated single cable rows for Ela and boxing! Winnie tellls me she's going down to Sydney for a conference about lower back pain but will have come back before I see her again next Friday.
- Afterwards, Peggy tootles me off to Garbo and grabs a trolley for us. Today, she parked in B2. Reaching ground floor, I see there's a new popup donut stall open! I was gonna sit and wait for the optometrist to ask me what I needed help with, but Peggy ordered I walk up to the front counter, stand and tell the optom that my nose pad and ear tip needed replacing. Ha, the optometrist immediately told me to go sit down and she'd replace them for me.
- I saw Daniel but pretty sure he doesn't recognise me; I also saw Rico but didn't call out hello to him since he was busy. But when he got up, he caught my eye and nodded a greeting; Era waved back to him in return.
- 'Twas Ricoo who brought my glasses back to me. I noted that today he was wearing the Team Leader and not the Manager badge; Rico just smirked and said it's the same thing. I also asked after his daughter and Rico tells me that she's starting semester break for three weeks!
- Back home, I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
Cheers,
Em. ^^
