Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1501 steps (ha, I'm literally one step over 1.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Main Purpose Of Ministry'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Moving From Failure To Success' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Surrendering To God'. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 2nd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:35am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Outta habit I wake again for the pot :P @ 7:45am since that's usually the time dearest dad leaves for work.
- Around 9am, PIG mum's daily a-THUMPING around upstairs wakes me again for the pot. :P Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with only the bra strap and the tee (dearest dad's gone swimming but might get back home while I'm still in bed) before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum returns to finish with only Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teethj. That done, I sit over the loo, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is two dry (no honey) Weet-Bix with some poor drowned :P honey Tiny Teddy cereal, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the loo, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude! Oh, did I say last night? My monthlies have arrived~
- When Lena arrives, I climb into the passenger seat of RIX, she kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt and then tootles me off to the NAB. Poor thing was sick last week; her client gave her a cold! >< She was wearing a mask and asked me to put one on too~
- Physio today: Lotsa mat work going from four-point kneeling to one point kneeling then lunging and transferring back to the plinth and eight laps short hallway walking. Ruth and Elaine were manning the NAB today.
- After one more loo trip and a pad change (it's heavier today), Lena next tootles me off to Calamvale Central to get a cheap haircut from Go Cutt. Yay that she found the exit closest to the hair cut place, although I didn't have any luck persuading her to buy me a pearl milk tea. XD Apparently, her own favourite's the black sugar pearl milk tea; I've not tried that one before!
- My hairdresser was Chinese; I gave him my usual paltry sentence in Chinese: I'm from HK. Sorry, I speak Cantonese. I don't speak Mandarin. You speak too fast. I dunno what you're saying! I enjoy getting haircuts from there because it's the only place where I'm instructed to tilt my head down; mother's always screeching @ me to look up! Also, afterwards your head gets VACUUMED. Sure, it's a very gentle suction but the sound's good. XD
- Our last stop was Pinelands Plaza to get my crackling pork roll from the Pinelands Bakehouse but Lena got it for me and told me just to wait in the car since all the disabled parks had been taken and she couldn't find a park until almost down the other end. She said hi to Aunty Lisa for me, though~
- Back home I took a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Lena who helped me rinse out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was my delicious crackling pork salad roll plus one mug of plain green tea. Lena ate her own lunch by the sink and then sat and massaged Ela for just ten minutes.
- At 1:35pm Lena sent me once more to the loo for two tinkles before I signed her off with my thanks and byes @ 1:45pm. She's back again same time next week.
- Once I've enjoyed my most important two hours online for the day I'll head over to the gobbling :P table and hopefully PIG mum'll feed me some arvo tea.
- Fingers crossed I can watch the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 34TH time!
- Toms: PIG mum'll help me up since I've got a late morning appointment to see Aunty Anna for some massage. No acupuncture today, because Aunty Anna won't give aqcupuncture when you're having your period but I'm unsure why. Should stay awake coz it's a morning appointment but never underestimate the power of PIG mum's soporific voice! XD
- Hopefully PIG mum'll take me grocery shopping and aisle walking afterwards, else expect a super-pissy plodding total from me.
- Bree's taking me to table tennis @ 2pm. Fingers crossed for cake again! XD
- Bree will see me showered and fed with arvo tea before leaving @ 6:30pm, I'm leaving soon after also since GG oficially launches toms night @ Peter Pie's place with dinner @ 7pm! Must remember to remind PIG mum to cook something eggy for me~
- Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing day toms!
